I have been to this place with my thai friend last year and they didn't make any problem with me not having an original passport. This time I come woth another forensic who is not thai and they said only original passport is accepted even though we had drivers license and other ID. When we finally convinced them about the original ID, they said we had to open an expensive bottles to start. Last time I was with my thai friend, we were ok with just beer bottles or even got beer buffet but this time we have to open expensive bottles to just get in. This place is being infamous for neing judgemental and being hostile towards foreigners. This place will lose customers gradually since many foreigners like me living here also friends with thais and reputation can spread pretty quickly. Super disappointed experience. They kept customer waiting outside during a rainy day even after the business hour schedule marked in the Google. At least I had one online reservation with them even in advance! Asking for waiting in store is not seriously taken into consideration by the staff there. They prefer to focus more on their meetings regardless of the concerns to improve the customer centric mindset they ought to have more in practice. And at the end, I and my friends were not allowed to enter just due to the missing of original ID/passport ! Living in Bangkok for over 7 years and it was my first time to be asked to present the original one just for bar entrance.
