This was not my first visit here and I actually had a lot of fun over the past visits but it was unfortunately marred by this visit.
Short story: Music is good, service is questionable. Might wanna reconsider if you don’t have a local with you.
Long story: A staff member guaranteed us a table, citing that the current occupants have settled the bill and we only have to wait for them to leave. They took awhile to leave (no issue with that, they’re perfectly entitled to do so). So he asked if I wanted to give up and find another table. I obliged and told him that I will get my friends to stay and keep the table while I go have a look at the other option. However when I was about to go upstairs, I turned around and only saw my friends following me behind. My friends said that the staff member asked them to follow along. I was confused and I headed back to the table only to find out our table had been given away. One of my friends even said she saw said staff member shake the hand of the new table occupants (friends are priority maybe?). Furthermore, we were willing to open 2 bottles as promised whereas the new occupants only opened one. Our moods were clearly dampened after all this and all we wanted to do was to claim our leftover bottle from a few nights earlier but they said we couldn’t claim our bottle without a table, even after explaining the situation. How ironic.
All I’m saying is, I’m in the service line too. I get that there are company protocols in place, but surely there has to be some sort of service recovery/flexibility provided here. However, none of the sort was provided. It was our last night in Bangkok and we planned on ending it with a bang. However, we were majorly let down. Please be wary before...
Read moreThe DJ was AMAZING! And the entire club was so cool, but incredibly posh. The room was one of the wealthiest I’ve ever been in. The staff were incredibly aggressive, pulling and pushing me and my friends around as well as called us freeloaders less than 15 minutes after I bought a drink from the bar. BE WARNED if you go here, it is apparently not for dancing, even though they have one of the best djs I’ve ever heard. They played exclusively American music, some Blackpink too, and so we were so excited to be there. The in-house photographer was taking lots of pictures of us while we were throwing it back. Locals were dancing with us too. And then we were approached by the manager who was holding up his phone saying “no freeloaders”. Then he told us we couldn’t dance where we were. When we asked where, he had us go upstairs but then the staff kept shining flashlights in our face and pushing us around. It really killed our vibe, and I hope they don’t use pictures of me from that night for their social media, it feels weird to not be wanted in a space but still give them a good image. Wish the DJ would do a tour in the US, it was amazing! Worth it if you aren’t as free-spirited as we are (or maybe you are and want to go undercover) and are fine with looking bored in the coolest place on the planet. We felt like out of place Americans (we were). Also they have bathroom attendants who rub your shoulders and back when you go pee in the urinal. Overall, it was a deeply...
Read moreBe firm and be careful in washroom. Be firm and say no to staff, when they start massaging you in the washroom. It's a scam, they will ask for 100 THB tip for 5 seconds of massage. ( In toilet, while peeing, the staff started massaging back and shoulder out of nowhere. He cracked my neck without consent. My neck is hurting since then. It happened within few seconds. If the management is reading this. Stop toilet staff from giving massage without consent and stop them asking for tips for unwanted massage and neck crack.)
Pros: No entry fees Good crowd Good music and vibes Opens until 4 AM
Cons: Too dark, narrow and cramped Way too loud Tables are too close to each other Not much space to dance No place to sit anywhere Toilet staff ask for minimum 100 THB tip for giving massage without consent. They hardly massage for 5-10 seconds and have audacity to ask for tip. Be firm and say no. Just walkway. Toilet staff need to give privacy when someone is using the washroom. Why need 2-3 staff always in toilet? Unwanted head, back massage in washroom. Then they ask for tip. I never seen this...
