Urban Music Bar — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

Went here last night with friend of mine and we really were just there to have few drinks and dancing that was fun!! 🤩 Really a place to go that’s very local so it was full of younger Thais who like hip hop urban music!! 🎶 It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night!

If you’re in the area and you want to go somewhere for some casual hip-hop and you want to drop in this is a place to go!

Urban deserves 5 stars because 1) it's open all the time, 2) FREE entry and entrance-policy for dress code is very acceptable, and 3) there's always a good ambiance and acceptably good music.

Drinks are similarly priced like many local bars and clubs, and are quite acceptable. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. It helps to have a few girls in your entourage but that's not a requirement. Crowds are a bit young but that's to be expected. Only a few tourists, mainly local people — so don't expect to mingle in English easily.

Plus there's a fried chicken vendor for 40 baht just outside...

The time we went there, first we showed them our passport photos in our mobile. But they told us we need ATK test, not mentioning about physical passport. So my friends and I paid 100 thb each and did the ATK test. Then we went back to the entrance and the securities were rude and telling us we must show our physical passport. Nonsense! We explained them reasonably. But they rudely told us to go back! Really...
