Decided to visit this store, which came highly recommended by a good friend based in Bangkok. I visited Wattana Panich on my last trip and decided to try out this beef hotpot this trip to see how they are different and which I would prefer.

The place is about a 10-minute walk from the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Mrt Station (exit 1), where you will walk past the very local Khlong Toei Market enroute there. Most of the diners are locals and there aren't too many tables in the shop. I arrived at 1045am and was lucky to get a table. Suggest to go early and avoid the lunch crowd.

I ordered the beef hotpot as it's what's famous here. The owner who wears a headband spoke good English, and recommended I have the beef, shank, tendon and meatballs in my pot. I requested for extra shank served raw (so I could cook myself), as well as deep fried garlic and morning glory and a bowl of rice.

The food was served about ten minutes later, in a traditional hotpot with charcoal still burning in the pot. The meats which the owner recommended were also cooked in the pot and ready to eat. The beef, stewed beef and shank tasted great, while the meatballs and tendon were so-so. Not sure if it's because it has been cooked so the texture could sometimes be overcooked. The additional plate of raw shank I ordered cooked quickly when I dipped it into the hotpot, and it tasted superb. One thing I didn't really fancy was that the soup was abit too sweet, closer to the sukiyaki style.

All in all a good beef place that's not touristy, but need to be there early to...

Heng Chun Seng! 🍜🍲 Get ready for a culinary adventure that's both noodly and brothy, because this place is serving up the best of both worlds! 🎉 Imagine a place where you can slurp delicious noodles and dive into a flavorful hot pot, feeling like you've hit the jackpot of deliciousness! 💰🤩 Picture yourself diving into a bowl of springy noodles, swimming in a rich broth, and then switching gears to create your own hot pot masterpiece, with a dazzling array of fresh ingredients! 😋 It's like a choose-your-own-adventure book, but with more noodles, more broth, and definitely more fun! 📖🥢 However, let’s be honest, sometimes a "noodle and hot pot restaurant" can feel a bit like a real-life game of "chopstick juggling," where you're trying to navigate slippery noodles and delicate hot pot ingredients, all while trying to avoid accidentally splashing broth on your neighbor! 🥢🍜🍲😅 And while the food is undeniably amazing, you might also find yourself questioning your ability to resist ordering everything on the menu, especially if you're a noodle and hot pot fanatic like me! 🤤❤️ Overall, Heng Chun Seng sounds like a delightful and versatile dining experience, a place where you can satisfy all your cravings, from comforting noodles to interactive hot pot, and maybe even discover a new favorite combination, even if you sometimes feel like you’re participating in a synchronized noodle-slurping and ingredient-dunking competition with a hundred other...

Heng Chun Seng Hotpot is hands down the go-to spot for the most amazing beef hotpot in Bangkok—trust me, it's a must-visit! We went for the medium-sized hotpot and boy, were we in for a treat! Picture this: a heavenly mix of beef shank, tripe, tongue, stomach, tendon, beef balls, and veggies, all simmering in a flavorful broth. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we threw in some egg noodles for good measure.

Now, let's talk about that soup—it's like a warm hug for your taste buds, with just the right amount of sweetness to keep you coming back for more. And the meat? Oh, so tender and juicy, it practically melts in your mouth. And don't even get me started on the noodles—springy and oh-so-satisfying, they took the whole experience to the next level.

What's even better is that the prices here won't break the bank, making it even more worth it! However, be prepared for a bit of a wait—we went early to avoid the lunch crowd and still had to wait around 15-20 minutes. But trust me, it's totally worth it for this incredible dining experience.

All in all, Heng Chun Seng Hotpot delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the quality of ingredients to the depth of flavors, every bite feels like a taste of heaven. Whether you're a hotpot fanatic or just looking for a delicious meal, this place is an absolute gem that you don't want to...

I stumbled upon this small beef noodle stall in Thailand and it turned out to be one of the best meals of my trip. The stall may look simple and humble from the outside, but the flavors they serve are absolutely unforgettable. I ordered a bowl of beef noodles and was amazed at how rich and fragrant the broth was. It had the perfect balance of savory depth and natural sweetness, clearly simmered with beef bones for hours. The beef slices were tender, flavorful, and generously portioned, while the noodles were cooked just right—soft yet springy, absorbing the broth perfectly. What impressed me most is that despite the high quality, the price is incredibly cheap. It’s rare to find such flavourful food at such an affordable cost, especially when compared to restaurants in more touristy areas. The portion size was satisfying, and you definitely get great value for money. The stall itself is simple but comfortable enough for a quick and hearty meal. Service was fast and efficient, which is great if you’re on the go. Eating here felt like enjoying authentic local Thai street food—unpretentious, affordable, and truly delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. A must-try for beef noodle lovers!
