I’d been meaning to try this restaurant. I’d traveled specifically to eat here, so I decided to stay despite some surprises. The lemongrass pork bánh mì was the highlight — fresh, flavorful, and totally satisfying. Crispy bread, a good balance of pickled veggies, and the pork had just the right amount of that fragrant, savory lemongrass kick. I do wish it had a layer of pâté — would’ve added that extra richness and made it feel a bit more traditional. We ordered the pork ham spring rolls, even though I had recommended the shrimp ones beforehand. They were fine, but personally, I wish we’d gone with the shrimp — might have been a better match for the dipping sauce and overall flavor. The shrimp vermicelli noodles were just okay — nothing bad, just didn’t stand out. I also tried their Vietnamese iced coffee, served in the classic drip style. Presentation was spot on. After sitting down, a huge crashing sound from above confirmed there was construction going on, and the noise continued throughout the meal. The restaurant owner was apologetic about the noise, which was appreciated, though it was still a bit distracting. I found this place through a YouTube recommendation and was up for a little adventure. That said, it felt like a long trip for a meal alone, especially since there wasn’t much else to see or do in the area. Not sure if I’d make another trip out here just for the food. The menu photos on Google Maps looked pretty outdated, so I’m glad I was able to take and share some new ones. Overall? Worth checking out for the bánh mì — especially if you’re nearby — but maybe wait until the construction’s done if you’re looking for a more...
Read moreI just had to share my recent experience at “Vietnamese and More” with you—it was nothing short of amazing! I've been there a few times now, and every visit leaves me in awe of the incredible flavors they serve up. The whole vibe of the place is perfect! The decor has this cool mix of Vietnamese charm and modern comfort with a chill musics playing inside. It's the kind of place you can go for a laid-back lunch, a family dinner, or a chill hangout with friends. Seriously, This restaurant nails it with their outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. We've tried quite a few dishes and one of my all-time favorites that I never miss ordering is the Vietnamese Ham Salad with that perfect touch of spiciness. It's got this amazing balance of flavors that just keeps me coming back. Meanwhile, my friends are huge fans of the Pho– it's always a hit at our table. And let me tell you, the New Noung set is an absolute must-try. The combination of flavors and textures in that dish is unparalleled. So, if you're checking out Vietnamese restaurants, trust me, the Vietnamese Ham Salad, the Pho, and definitely the New Noung set are the way to go! Can't get enough of...
Read moreVietnamese and more has shot up on my ever growing list of Bangkok Vietnamese restaurants.
The beef pho was delicious and had the right beef flavor. I could tell that this broth had been simmering for a long time. I only wish they had an option of tendon, tripe and beef balls to go along with the beautiful beef brisket in this soup.
The fresh spring pork and shrimp roll was fragrant with freshly cut herbs.
I purchased two different Bahn mi sandwiches for take away. The combination Bahn mi and the Lemongrass pork Bahn mi. Both were equally good.
This is a small bistro style restaurant with maybe 6 tables but it is very comfortable. The staff and the chef are very hospitable and I will...
