Longzhu Chinese Dumpling Restaurant — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

I ordered stir fried beans, egg and tomato dish, cabbage pork dumplings, Chinese spinach, huiguorou for take out. The staff were very attentive and nice although it was quite hard ordering due to the language barrier. The food was very sub par, I wouldn’t give it over a 3 star. The egg and tomato were watered down, the spinach also was a little bland, and the huiguorou didn’t taste like the dish - pork also being too fatty. I’m Chinese background so possibly a little more harsh but other than the dumplings, it certainly isn’t authentic Chinese - the saving grace was the pork dumplings, which I’d only order this or dumplings if you were at the restaurant - which I would give a 3.9 out of 5. The kitchen did cook quick which was great as I was in a rush. The restaurant also always seems to be empty around 9pm while others down the street are quite busy. The cost was also affordable so...

Probably the best soup dumplings you can find in Bangkok. Each batch of 10 dumplings is 80 baht, so I can go and eat 30 dumplings, a beer, water, and tea amd it all comes out to less than 500 baht. Not sure about the rest of the food besides the Mapa Tofu, which was pretty good. Also they have hot chili oil and Chinese black vinegar which makes the dumplings even better. เกี๊ยวซ่า ไส้หมูกุยช่ายผสมเนื้อหมูสับ แว่บแรกนึกถึงเกี๋ยวซ่าหน้าโรงเรียนเลย ทำไมแป้งดูหนาจังแอบสงสัย แต่พอเอาตะเกียบคีบแล้วแป้งกรอบนี้ โอเคเลย แป้งอาจดูมีความหนากว่าปกติ แต่ถ้าได้กัดคือแป้งดีมากไม่ได้หนาอย่างตาเห็น คือมันหนาละแต่มันเพิ่มรสสัมผัสในการเคี้ยว ไส้ข้างในอร่อยเลย มีความหอมของซอสปรุงรส คือตัวแรกที่กินไปไม่จิ้มซอสเลย ก็อร่อยแล้ว แต่เขามีซอสเพิ่มกลิ่นหอมๆ ยิ่งดีเลย
