Charlee Barley's — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

Yesterday I got the shrimp spring rolls and pad Thai. They were both excellent, especially coupled with the amazing view! The serving size is a little on the smaller side for the noddles, but that is common at all the restaurants here. Yesterday I had asked for extra chili on my Phad Thai, the owner was super friendly and brought me a lot! He remembered me the following night and when I ordered Pad Kee Mao he asked if I wanted it spicy! Let’s just say it did not disappoint! You have been warned if you order it spicy but the flavor was excellent! definitely recommend this little beach...

Awesome place. Food was good and the view is awesome along this beach. The owner and his wife were so nice and we talked to them each time we came. Because of covid there weren't too many options along this part but this was my favorite here.

This restaurant and the ones next to it have kids running around so be prepared for the sounds and actions that come with them running and playing along the beach.

Par où commencer ! Nous avons commandés un burger chicken et un fish avec frites accompagnés d’un fanta et d’un jus de mangue. Ils nous ont été servis en 5 minutes top chrono le temps de décongeler le chicken et le fish, ils dégoulinaient encore d’eau tellement qu’ils n’étaient pas cuits ! Les frites, il y en a une douzaine à tout casser ont le goût de plastique, je n’ose voir dans quoi elles ont été cuites ! Autant vous dire que ce « repas », si je peux le qualifier de tel était degueulasse, sans aucune saveur !!! J’ai du mal à croire que les propriétaires ont le culot de servir ça à des clients, même s’il ne s’agit pas de locaux mais de touristes ! J’ai mordu un mord dans le burger chicken (voir photos) et avale une frite. Ma sœur a tenté les deux mords avant de stopper le massacre par peur d’être malade ! Ce restaurant est à fuir ! Je n’ai vraiment pas pour habitude de descendre un restaurant, bien au contraire, mais la je suis obligée de vous dire de tracer votre chemin si vous ne souhaitez pas être malade.
