A Night to Remember - If Only We Could Forget!

This place is an experience — not of fine dining, but of sheer, unbridled chaos. Here’s a breakdown of our unforgettable evening at Lanta Roundhouse:

The Staff: Were they employees? Guests? Extras in a surrealist film? One server casually rolled a joint while another confidently delivered plates in his bare chest. Truly, a masterclass in hospitality.

The Vibe: Think "Brits Abroad," fueled by beer and tonns of joints.

The Service: Glacially slow — but hey, when your waiter is having as much fun as the guests, who has time for food?

The Food: It eventually arrived, and it was... fine. Not bad, not great. But in the grand spectacle of the night, it was more of a supporting act than the star of the show.

If you’re looking for impeccable service and refined dining, this is not the place for you. But if you’re in the mood for a front-row seat to an avant-garde performance of “What Even Is This?” then buckle up, grab a drink (you’ll need it), and enjoy the ride.

From the moment we arrived at Round House, we knew we were home. Nadia and Paul welcomed us with open arms, and we didn't want to leave. The location is set right on the beach at Khlong Nin and when I say on the beach, I mean the waves lap right up to our room. We picked the Beach House which has its own veranda and swinging hammock. Nadia and Paul are great hosts and we spent many nights at the bar with them. They arranged all our transport and kept us entertained for hours. If you are lucky enough, you may even hear the very talented Paul on his guitar. The vibe is incredibly relaxing, and the food and drinks have satisfied many a wandering visitor. The furry residents Charlie, Sly, Princess and Leo will keep you company as you stare out at the gently lapping waves as the sun sinks into the horizon. Can't wait to go back.
