Decided to drive 30 minutes to Galapagos after many recommendations. Arrived and the cafe was full with a few tables nearly finished, so we offered to wait around as we did not mind waiting at all. The male waiter told us there was no point waiting and that we should not wait. We said we were happy to wait and just order a drink and wait outside until a table became free no matter how long it took as we were in no hurry at all. Yet, we were not allowed to order a drink and he told us not to wait and that we would not get a table regardless. Baffling and rude behaviour for absolutely no reason at all when greeted only with politeness and understanding that the restaurant was full. It’s a shame we could not try the food considering the great setting and atmosphere, however, could not recommend on the basis of the rude, sharp service and would not return in the future due to their attitude towards tourists. It’s hard to understand how any establishment can rudely turn away customers and potential income for no reason (sadly, I see this is not the only review pointing out a similar scenario…)

Read moreThis place is simply amazing and a hidden gem. This cozy and creative cafe is the best place for a healthy, veggie-packed and delicious lunch on Koh Lanta. There are a lot of vegetarian/vegan dishes but also dishes with chicken, fresh tuna or salmon. We loved the Tuna Pokebowl and Tuna Salad (with fresh tuna!) with her amazing sauce and the Chicken wrap with a lot of fresh veggies and homemade (super tasty!) pesto. The prices are super reasonable and cheaper than we have seen in other places, especially compared to the generous portions. We have been there twice in a row and would go again if we didn’t have to leave Koh Lanta. The food is freshly made to order and the dishes are something else than the standard dishes you see everywhere. The owner is the kindest person, she is in for a chat and you can really tell she loves to cook this amazing food. Whenever we are on Koh Lanta again, we would go to Galapagos for lunch right...
Read moreI LOVE eating here! Taa is such a lovely host and she goes out of her way to make each dining experience delicious. Her home made bread is soooo good, her freshly made Bao Bao buns are to die for. Bring a little extra time as everything is made with love. I can recommend so many dishes here, the omelette with parmesan and fresh microgreens and mango is a firm favourite as is the Korean crispy chicken with Bao Bao buns. The Caesar wrap and vegetable wrap are also soooo good. The golden smoothie with a ginger kick is a great boost in the morning and there's more vegan options including the amazing vegan poke bowl. Thank you Taa for all the love you put into making us healthy, fresh...
