Mayan Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

My favorite place in the whole island! I stumbled upon it accidently, while walking by the nearby beach and managing to cut my hand open on one of the rocks. I went to the closest place, Mayan tiki Bar, with a bleeding hand, and the owner Lom immediately came to my aid. After this, I decided to have a drink and Im so glad that I did!

The drinks are excellent, with Lom and his employee Peh, making them with utmost care and making sure the customer is getting the best possible drink. They really are skillful and do not use any sugar syrups that I noticed many other bars in Thailand use. The drinks were also very affordable, and again the best cocktails ive had in a while.

The bar has PERFECT views for the sunset, and I can not recommend this place enough to spend a evening. Lom and is such a friendly guy and I wish him all the best! I’ll visit this bar the first thing, when I’m going to Koh...

This bar is a diamond of a place, located at the very end of the beach, you can have a beach stroll and relax on the bean bags and enjoy a fantastic cocktail. The atmosphere is perfect, after visiting many touristy spots and bars, Mayan tiki is a retreat with the friendliest staff. Lom the owner is an absolute pleasure to speak with and he is so welcoming to others. This isn’t a big business tourist trap, it’s a small quaint bar that captures the most incredible sunsets and the cocktails are very well priced. I would highly recommend the boozy passion fruit iced tea 10/10!! More than just cocktails , this place is a space to connect and reflect. Lom is very knowledgable and so helpful, you are in safe hands here and it really does feel like a little home away...

Tucked away in the Lanta New Beach Bungalows Resort, stunningly situated on the beach front, is the gorgeously, cosy Mayan Tiki Bar. Here you will find the finest quality cocktails in Ko Lanta mixed passionately by lovely Lom, who really knows his trade and believes in giving his customers the best. If you fancy good food with your cocktail, it is available in the adjoining resort restaurant. I spent a few fun evenings here drinking the best Paloma cocktails (which I hadn't found anywhere else in Thailand), watching the stunning sunsets and chatting with Lom and newly found friends.
