Thai-E-SAN — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

Unfortunately we can’t leave a good review. We didn’t get a chance to eat there. We waited patiently over 40 minutes for our ordered food and realised that more tables are waiting too. We asked the owner how long it will take for us to get our food and we were told at least 30 mini more since it’s busy time. He apologised but our evening mood was completely ruined. The worst thing is we were told that around 21:30 when most of the restaurants about to close. We understand that it can get busy, but the owner spoke pretty good English and could have told us that we will have to wait more than one hour. We could decide ourselves if it’s fine for us. So only one star from us. We were looking to experience the local restaurant atmosphere but in the end we ended up hungry and...

Unbelievably good food. Take your time to choose but even to wait until you get served with good. It took me 40 minutes but it was worth it. The fried chicken with ginger and chilli is amazing. Even the fried was deliscious, i think they have used at least 3 kr 4 eggs to make it, mine was 2cm high. The price is very cheap compared to the quality of the food you get. Give it a try.!!

Edit1: I came back and tried the red curry and asked to make it spicy, amazing (this time the wait was only 5 minutes) !!
