Two Scoops Gelato — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

I've been travelling South East Asia for 3 months now and can say this is the best Ice Cream (Gelato) or even dessert I've eaten. Had two scoops as the name instructs you and both delicious (Raspberry and Peanut Brittle). Its quite far up the top end of the island which is 15 minute scooter ride from where we are staying but soooo worth it. Only shame for us is it shuts at 6pm so no late night after dinner treat available. Prices are on the higher side but worth it considering most Thai desserts are disappointing (in a different place i payed more for pineapple fritter and ice cream and was bang average). Best gelato we've ever had, no matter where we go in the world we always compare to this place! In particular the Rum and Raisin is my favourite - it is unbelievably tasty.

They update new favours daily and they always have exciting new ones to try. The staff are so friendly and hard working, you can really tell they love working there!

Our gelato was amazing, tasted great and refreshing on a hot day. Unfortunately the service ruined our experience. The two ladies behind the counter were very rude and snappy. Giving us looks for asking if they had cones, or asking for a single taste. After paying 70 baht for a single scoop, I ended up with half a scoop of gelato in my bowl, compared to my friends. Hopefully the service gets better, or I wouldn't recommend...
