Despite the name, my visit to Restaurant Feel Good was unfortunately far from a “feel good” experience. As a vegetarian, I ordered the pineapple fried rice specifically asking for it to be vegetarian. However, when the dish arrived, it had visible chicken shavings on top. I politely asked for it to be changed, but instead of preparing a new dish, they brought back what appeared to be the exact same plate. When I pointed this out again, I was told they would just remove the chicken from the top—which obviously doesn’t fix the issue if meat was cooked into the rice.

Communication with the staff was very difficult as no one seemed to speak even basic English. While I understand that this can be common in more local places, it did make it hard to explain dietary restrictions. If you're a tourist who doesn't speak Thai, I'd recommend being extra patient and perhaps using a translation app to make things smoother.

Vegans! Update, onderstaande geldt nog steeds. Maar maak heeeel goed duidelijk wat je wilt. Ik had aangegeven gebakken groenten zonder broccoli (heerlijk maar buikpijn;-) en met cashewnoten en chilisaus, rijst ernaast en 2 flesjes water. Ik kreeg gestoomde groenten met broccoli en zonder cashewnoten. 🤣🤣 de bouillon (hopelijk vegan😳) was wel lekker, geen chilisaus dus geen pit. Het water was vergeten. Desalniettemin hebben we heel lekker gegeten, dus ...mai penrai 😉 alleen gisteren was beter👍 ..... Sfeervolle muziek, prachtig uitzicht, vriendelijk personeel. Voor mij als vegan hebben ze (daar vroeg ik om), gebakken groenten, gebakken rijst en gebakken cashewnoten gemaakt. Ik had extra groenten gevraagd, maar dat is niet helemaal duidelijk geweest denk ik😊, ook het bakken in sojasaus niet🤭. Ik kreeg zo'n omgekeerd kommetje met alles in 1. Ik dacht dat ik niet voldoende verzadigd zou zijn, maar per abuis had mijn dochter extra friet besteld, dus daar heb ik ook nog wat van gegeten (eigenlijk was ik toen zelfs te vol). Ik heb om chilli en sojasaus gevraagd en kreeg een bakje gesnipperde hete peper en een flesje sojasaus er naast. Veel koks denken dat vegan eten ook direct zonder kruiden en peper is, dat was hier niet anders, maar op deze manier was het prima opgelost, op deze manier kun je het zelf maken zoals je wilt. Mijn dochter had de visburger en kreeg daar dus ook friet bij en wat salade. Ze vond de burger erg lekker maar er zat wat weinig saus op. Ze vroeg extra saus en kreeg dat onmiddellijk. Met 2 flesjes water was de rekening 550baht. We zijn van plan om hier morgen weer...
