I accidentally booked this hotel late at night while urgently trying to find a place to stay. Within 2–3 minutes of confirming the reservation, we realized it was in the wrong area and immediately submitted a cancellation request, followed by a polite email explaining the situation.I fully acknowledge that the mistake was mine and that the booking was marked as nonrefundable due to its last-minute nature. However, given how quickly I contacted the hotel—literally within minutes—I was hoping they might show some understanding and allow a cancellation. We clearly explained that we would not be able to check in or use the reservation at all.Instead, the hotel denied the request outright. No offer of even a partial refund or administrative fee adjustment—just a flat no. I would have gladly accepted a small penalty (1–2%) to cover processing, but keeping the full $80 for a reservation canceled within minutes feels unnecessarily rigid.Customer service is more than following policy—it’s about evaluating context. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I write this not with anger, but with disappointment. I hope the hotel considers adding just a bit more flexibility in the future for genuine, immediate booking mistakes. I had to rate the hotel to send this review - please do not use the ratings that were provided. We did not stay at...
Read moreOur experience at this hotel was mixed, with both positive and frustrating moments. One of the biggest challenges was getting assistance from the staff. For instance, when I forgot something in the room, the front desk told me to contact housekeeping myself, which felt a bit dismissive. Similarly, when I asked for help arranging transportation, I was told to walk out and find it on my own. Thankfully, one of the staff members kindly helped carry my bags to the pick-up point — and I truly appreciated that small gesture of care.
The room was overall fine, though not spotless — we noticed a bit of sand here and there. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool, but it was a bit noisy. The view from the room was nice, but if you’re assigned a room near the stairs, be prepared to hear frequent foot traffic.
Breakfast was quite tasty, though the service was a little slow, especially when it came to refilling empty dishes. It seemed the staff were trying their best, but perhaps they were short-staffed or overwhelmed at times.
In the end, while there were moments of kindness and comfort, I left feeling not fully satisfied with the overall service experience. If I were to return, I would need to think it...
