Teaw@HOME ( เตี๋ยว@HOME ) — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Once in a while, you visit a place when you wish you wouldn’t have. The reviews seem fake and paid for; We ordered 2 dishes, the steamed sea bass and the massaman curry. The fish was very nice, however the massaman curry tasted like a watered down version of what it supposed to be. When we send it back and informed we didn’t want the dish; the kitchen staff and server were both clearly offended. The server then tried to offer the curry again, which we politely refused. After some awkward stares we decided to pay for the bill, he was surprised we didn’t want to pay for the curry, which we sent back. We had to do our own math, and the servers then waited inside, and we had to forcefully get our change as well. “Well I can pay for it if you want” was said multiple times, adding insult to injury. Incredibly disappointed food with lack of character and flavor. Absolutely awful service that can easily damage a night. These reviews must be fake and paid for. Only people without taste buds will think it’s fine. Massaman curry tasted like absolute water. Mistakes can happen and once we sent it back we got an awful response from the staff and I think manager— who tried to force us to pay for something we barely ate MULTIPLE OF TIMES. Even tried to scam us at the end. You’re willing to lose your reputation over 200 baht?...

Wow! Thai people should learn from this place. Food is delicious. Spicy because of FRESH pepper 🌶️ not dry. All dishes served together! Prices in menu are real and very low. This place shown that no all restaurants in Thailand wants to drain your pocket. And they cook like for a local people who can come back again not like for tourists. Amazing place thanks for wonderful dinner. I believe this is the best place in Krabi maybe...
