If you're anything like me, finding authentic Napoli-style pizza outside of Italy can be a quest. So, imagine my delight when I stumbled upon Pizza Glur & Bistro in Ao Nang! This charming spot truly brings a taste of Southern Italy to Thailand, and their commitment to genuine Neapolitan pizza is evident in every delicious bite.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of a wood-fired oven tells you you're in for a treat. I opted for a classic Margherita, the true test of any Neapolitan pizzeria, and it did not disappoint. The crust was simply divine: perfectly charred and blistered, with that wonderful chewy, airy texture you crave. The San Marzano tomato sauce was vibrant and sweet, the fresh mozzarella melted beautifully, and the scattering of fresh basil completed the perfect trifecta of flavors. It was a beautiful balance of simplicity and quality ingredients, exactly as it should be.

Beyond the fantastic pizza, the bistro has a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.

Really lovely, quiet spot with awesome pizzas. I went there with my partner who’s Italian and he loved his Pastrami pizza with garlic sauce. I had a Salami pizza and really enjoyed it with the chili oil and garlic infused olive oil that was available at the table.

The location is very nicely decorated and has a cozy feel. The chill funk music playing there also stood out to us as being very tasteful and gave a very nice atmosphere while we ate.

The staff was also lovely and very friendly. The owner and pizza chef came out to greet and thank us, while we should be the one thanking him for the lovely dinner!

Overall I would say this is a hidden gem of Ao Nang and we will definitely come back here again when we have the chance. I highly recommend it for couples or those wanting a good meal with calm vibes for having a quiet conversation. THE BEST PIZZA IN THAILAND!

Seriously, the pizza was fantastic! The pizza dough is maybe better than Italy. Think and fluffy and at the same time crunch on the sides. We ate the pastrami pizza and the combination of the ingredients was perfect!

We also went a second time to eat the same pizza but the pizza dough was finished by 20:45. So be warned regarding it. This happens because this is a small family restaurant and they only product a limited amount to keep everything fresh.

We tried past on the 2nd visit and the rigatoni with bacon and Italian sausage was amazing. The truffle pasta was nice but could be better in my opinion.
