One of the coolest places in Au Nang, enhanced by the sophisticated silkiness of the home made cooking of Chef Sue. The restaurant is basically a tree house, with superb sea breezes, ocean views and people watching potential if you snag a front table. We had the bruschetta pomodoro which has a Thai slant with the inclusion of a little Thai basil. Delicious, simply delicious , with the Thai basil adding a multi dimensional flavour experience. Just pause a few minutes between bites to get all the flavour levels out of it. We also ordered the prawn red curry with pineapple and put it over crab fried rice. Together they were great. The prawn red curry had the perfect balance of spice, sweet, sour and salt, and the extra bonus of the slight bitterness and pop of the pea eggplant. The crab fried rice was not oily, had a good amount of crab and was both delicate and delicious. It was a generous serve too. Apologies for the photo of the crab fried rice - it was that good. Chef Sue kindly prepared an off menu dish for me because it was early and still a bit quiet. She made me a soft shell crab in (homemade) tamarind sauce, which I put over the rest of the crab fried rice. Easy 10/10, especially if you like tamarind. It was perfectly balanced, the crab was cooked just right, and the dish was super-flavoursome. Hats off to Chef Sue. We are here for another week and will definitely be back. She has a very interesting menu and I can't wait to try more. Aroy ma. Came back a second time a few days later. Chef Sue was kind enough to go off menu, and she cooked us giant tamarind prawns and giant tumeric prawns. Both are family recipes of her grandmother. Both were superb. The tamarind prawns were sweet, sour , muscular, and delicious. The tumeric prawns were a little like a Khao soi sauce, but more delicate, less heat, and a touch sweeter. The tumeric prawn sauce was sophisticated and silky. Delicious. This is really among the top 3 places to eat in Ao Nang. Also, on another visit, the pesto pasta was delicious, made with both sweet basil and a little Thai basil too.

Having lived here for several years, I must say the Thai food tastes pretty authentic. There are some dishes which are more Western than Thai but overall the selection is great and everything tastes good. When ordering somtum , take note of spice levels because it was quite spicy even for me. The steamed fish with lime was nicely done and not too spicy. It had just the right amount of sourness. I also really liked their fried mixed vegetables and fried garlic shrimp. It has the wok fried taste. Their pineapple fried rice had good amount of rice and ingredients - plus the curry powder gave it an extra oomph. And I liked the Thai crab cakes though it's not a very typical Thai dish. All of the food here is well presented with flower. Would highly recommend this place !

Wonderful 2nd floor bar on the beach. I I ordered a Cuba Libré and the wife had a strawberry margarita. My drink tasted a bit anemic. I took it to the bar to talk about it. The owner, Dieter, was on top of it. Ran over immediately to inquire. No questions ask, gave me a bigggg pour from the bottle. That, my friends, is how you run an establishment. Second visit, two years later… Really great tasting food. Efficient staff, but not there to make friends. That’s ok. We had tom yum gai, phad grapraou clams, deep fried chicken wings and a avocado & egg salad. Again, everything was delicious and the tom yum goong was some of the best I’ve ever had. Kinda bummed that the amount of avocado on my salad didn’t match the amount pictured on the menu.

Firstly, I am only rating this place a 1 because 0 is not an option! What a disappointing experience at a restaurant with such an awesome location! We went based on positive reviews. We ordered quite a few dishes that all tasted like they were absolutely drown in coconut milk. When ordering the green curry and red curry, we weren't given the option to choose spicey or not and food came out extremely bland and an extremely milky colour. We asked them why there was no flavour and they said that the curry was green curry but not spicy (it wasn't even green just looked like milk). We asked them to add spice and the curry came back even worse so we didn't eat it. We also waited another 35mins for the other dishes to come out. When we asked the staff, they kept telling us to wait but not even politely. The owner came out to give us some nonsense excuse about the curry and the pad Thai which was also terrible. We then asked for the bill which was extremely high for food that was very below average, we waited more than 20minutes for them to bring that and then eventually stood up to go and pay and waited another 10 minutes! Other customers were very tired of waiting too and there was a lot of frustration in the restaurant. I suggested that they could improve on their service and I was laughed at. What a disappointing experience for a last...

OMG 😱! You must stay away or u will ruin your vacay!!! Not sure what happened here but this restaurant will close soon if they don’t get their act together. Ignore all the positive reviews from a week ago because this place was the nightmare of our vacation. The main waiter/boss man should not be in this industry he has no service skills. I did feel very bad for the young lady waitress scrambling around servicing all the tables and being bossed around by that older man. Looking all around soo many tables still had their menu and they all had this look on their face of astonishment seeing the boss man walking around by them but never come to take their orders. It got so tense in there that it made us very uncomfortable, what a horrible way to start our vacay in Krabi. Such a shame because the restaurant was in a very nice location with views of the beach walk area and decorated fairly nice. We were thankful to get some food and canceled dessert and hurried to pay...
