I've never felt the need to negatively review a restaurant before now, however our experience at Jeseao's today was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, the positives - beach views and cheap food with a large menu.

Secondly, the service was not great to start with, our waiter lingered until we had chosen something to drink but nothing catastrophic...

Then our pizzas arrived. My girlfriend ordered the 'Malanzane Fresehe' and I ordered a Peperoni. Her pizza turned up covered in egg which she is mildly allergic to. The menu stated that eggplant was one ingredients however egg was nowhere. Apparently, as was barked at us by one of the managers, it is customary for eggplant to be served with egg... I don't see what value the two ingredients have when put together apart from the fact that they both have the word egg in.

However the crisis was averted, we merely swapped our pizzas as I rather like egg and carried on eating. Until I bit down on something sharp which I quickly recognised as egg shell. I then did a scan of the remaining pizza and found 3 other shards of egg shell (pictured).

As previously stated, I hate complaining and don't take pleasure in writing this and wouldn't have done so if the waiting staff had offered even a simple 'sorry' but all we received was a very dismissive remark about how we should have said at the start if we had a problem. We even saw the man who looked like the supervisor or manager walk away and gesture to his colegue the size of shell we had shown him and shake his head!

Okay, maybe we got what we paid for but...

Food Poisoning

My trip to Krabi was ruined after visiting this restaurant on 22/9/22, I had the beef massaman curry, 8 hours later I couldn't get off the toilet. This lasted for 3 days. Nausea and diahorea from a suspected out of date coconut milk in the massaman. A course of antibiotics for 5 days and I'm still not 100%. My wife who is Thai rang the restaurant on 23/9/22 and spoke to the alleged owner who may or may not be the Indian looking guy who hustles people on the street to eat in the restaurant, he said he was the owner on the phone but days later when confronted face to face he says he isn't. Anyway on the phone he showed no professionalism of hospitality, no remorse, no customer care, no guilt of what this establishment does to people who have spent lots of money for a trip to Krabi and got ill from an inept chef or poor hygiene in food preparation. Eat here at...

We went to that place couple of times during our vacation. The venue and service are good. All the people who served us were friendly and helpful. The food was not bad, but i removed one star because of the shrimps, comparing to other restaurants they were smaller and kind of dry. Probably frozen. We had a pizza too, which was good but not exactly what they advertise in the menu, salami pizza had more of a normal smoked sausage and each piece was split for 2, which makes it less than shown on the photo and prosciutto pizza had regular ham in it instead of actual prosciutto (probably chicken, because it was a white meat). But both pizzas tasted good. Thai curry was a little too spicy, Tom yum was great though (except for shrimps part😅). They also have happy hours, alcohol was...

An unexpectedly authentic eatery wrapped in a kitschy pizza vibe. Beautiful views from the front and great people-watching while protected from the afternoon downpours if you come to Krabi during an in-between season like November or March. The tom yum goong is that elusive mix of sour and savory and spicy that even legit places can’t always balance. Prices are competitive, service is prompt and personable, (I ❤️ Khun Ooan!) and what the caipirinhas lack in authenticity and volume they make up for with deliciousness and orchids. All-day 100 baht cocktails, and an easy beach location right at the major split make this a perfect place to wait out a rainstorm or watch tourists in the sun.
