Long story short: had severe FOOD POISONING from this restaurant. Would rate it zero stars if I could. If you insist on coming here DO NOT ORDER THE LAMB.
Came here with my family. My mom is Pakistani so we love eating lamb. In hindsight probably not the best thing to order in Thailand. However, Noori's menu had an entire page dedicated to lamb dishes so we thought it must be one of their specialties. The lamb arrived and just from the look of it we thought something might be wrong. My dad thought maybe it wasn't fully cooked but when he went to cut it the meat fell apart which made him think it was okay. I had one cube of lamb, my brother had one cube, my dad had a quarter of a cube and my mom didn't try it at all. I thought about spitting my bite out but didn't want to be disrespectful. We sent the dish back immediately and they took it off our bill. We ate the rest of our meal which consisted of shrimp, fish and papaya salad. About 30 minutes after dinner I barely make it back to my hotel room in time to have explosive diarrhea. Then I start to vomit. My brother gets home 30 min after me and the same thing happens to him. I end up throwing up and having diarrhea from about 9:30pm -2:30am and by the end there is nothing left to come out but my body was still trying. My brother wakes up in the middle of the night and can't make it to the bathroom in time, ends up projectile vomiting on the hotel hallway wall and all over the bathroom. We have to switch hotel rooms around midnight. Before we are able to switch hotel rooms I have to use the bathroom... again. So I head down to the lobby bathroom to throw up. The entire next day we had body aches and zero energy. Probably the worst experience of my life. My dad, who had a very small bite of the lamb, was sick in the morning and had body aches and zero energy the next day. My mom, who did not have any lamb, did not get...
Read moreDuring our stay in Krabi, we were looking for authentic Indian food and came across Nurit Restaurant – a small but charming place that quickly became one of the highlights of our culinary experiences. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The staff were attentive, patient, and always happy to explain the dishes and adjust them to our taste preferences.
The food itself was outstanding. We tried several main courses and side dishes, and every single one was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tikka Masala was tender and juicy, served in a rich and aromatic sauce that tasted exactly the way it should. The Dal was hearty, fragrant, and comforting, reminding us of a homemade meal. The chapati and naan breads arrived fresh, warm, and soft – perfect for dipping into the curries and sauces.
What impressed us most was the attention to detail. Everything was presented nicely, cleanly, and thoughtfully, creating a welcoming dining experience. The dishes were served quickly, but not rushed, allowing us to relax, enjoy our conversation, and savor every bite at the right pace.
The prices were also very fair considering the quality and generous portions we received. Krabi has countless dining options, but it is not easy to find such a special combination of genuine hospitality, truly authentic flavors, and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.
In conclusion, Nurit Indian Restaurant is a real gem in Krabi. Anyone who loves Indian food should not hesitate to try it – you will not be disappointed. We left with big smiles, full stomachs, and a strong desire to return on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian...
