We are frequent visitors to Thailand and love the place,

We arrived at our poolside room to be given a 2 level apartment. The bottom floor includes the fridge, coffee making gear, a couch and a tv but had absolutely no running water or toilet. To fill the jug or go to the toilet you had to go up sharp steep stairs with no hand rails. We are in our mid 50s and I have a knee issue from long term military service, stairs do not normally scare me but these did as they did my wife. I do not recommend these poolside rooms due to very poor layout and the fact you are required to take your own luggage up these tight, small steps not made for big feet or medium feet and no hand rail. I would not recommend these rooms if you have sore parts.

Positive for the pool room is, we did request a new single level room, the staff were outstanding and helpful and even mentioned we were the second older couple today to move room for the same reason. I asked if people moved from these rooms often to be told yes. This seemed to be a common issue, they sell the more expensive rooms, older people or people with injuries can not stay in them so you get moved to a cheaper room with no refund and the pool room gets rented again.

If you like a nice prepaid hotel buffett breakfast don't go here, First morning breakfast we arrived at 9:05 am. The standard of food was appalling and lacking as noted in other reviews. Boiled sauages from the tin and processed ham in hot water is not nice with cold eggs, the orange juice is a cheap horrible cordial. I asked for warm eggs as they were cold in the food warmer. The action I got was the waiter to say ohh, they turned the cold food heater back on and slowly heated up the cold eggs for the next person. I asked were all the food was as most warmers were empty ( Breakfast timings are 7am to 10am) the time was a couple of minutes past 9am. The reply I got was breakfast is 7am to 10am. Other patrons were also very disgusted.

Upon leaving, we used the hotel airport transfer. They filled out a docket then called a dingy taxi with broken aircon which parked next to the nice modern hotel transfer van, and charged us an extra 200bht for the service...200bht when we paid for a comfortable ride in the transfer van. The taxi driver got a very nice tip as we always do when leaving.

Overall, the hotel is clean and tidy and well represented by the hotel staff whom I thought were very good, friendly and helpful, a big thank you to the staff.

I would not stay at this place again nor would I recommend...

Hotel was nice enough with a clean room, quiet cool air con and a comfy bed. There was also a nice pool. Breakfast was varied but everything that was suppose to be hot held was freezing cold so toast it was every day... One morning we saw a guest complain about his cold noodles. The plate was taken from him by a member of staff and taken through a staff only door. A few minutes later the same member of staff was seen bringing an identical plate of noodles back through and scrapping it into the 'not hot held' dish of noodles. If this was the same food the guest had tried this is disgusting... The hotel policy was not usual to all other places we stayed. The welcome pack consisted of an itinerary of all items in the room and the cost if broken/taken. The serving of food and drink finished at 5pm but there was no mention of this on checking in, the menus themselves or in the room. Despite this being a modern hotel there was no safety deposit box in the room (there was a large general safe at reception) and no plug near the kettle so you had to place this on the floor next to a socket. No robes or slippers supplied and if you wanted towels for the pool you had to sign these out separately at reception. You could not put food or drink on your room and had to pay as you went. Not ideal when you were using the pool/outdoor facilities. There was no consistency with this process as sometimes you could order a drink, then food or another drink and pay the total at the end. Other times you had to pay drink by drink. Luckily it was quiet but not very relaxing to leave your wallet on a sunbed... The hotel policy made you feel very much it was for their our preservation and not their guests. Not experienced this before in other hotels in Thailand at various star rated. The airport shuttle service was far too expensive also. A grab or local taxi was...

What a disaster of a one night stay this was... This is a modern hotel, good facilities, good rooms, not so good pool (not inviting at all and very small), but... This is run in such a stupid and careless way that one could not imagine... So, at check-in, they gave me a -10% coupon to use between 16h-19h, the time that the restaurant was open (I was already not happy with this idea of a restaurant serving only until 7pm, but ok...) Then, in the lift, I found more flyers talking about this discount (happy hour), and that they had pizza and pancakes from 10am to 7pm (this information was not given during the check-in). At 6:35pm, I arrived at the "restaurant" with the coupon in hand, and they just said: the kitchen closed at 6:30, so now we only have some appetizers (let's just say they were almost the price of a full meal). As I had seen all this, I just went to the reception and they came back to the restaurant to hear the same I was told. Thankfully there's a restaurant right in front of the hotel that, some minutes after this happened, was completely full (of other "guests" to whom this probably also happened). To add to this, they provide a card that is the only way to have electricity in the room. Well... Where in the world is it normal to find a room at 27ºC, with such a bad AC that the temperature went regularly to 26/27/28 ºC if it was not on all the time? That's something completely bunkers... In almost 1 month travelling through Thailand, this was the only bad service experience I faced (thankfully the rest of the country is not run so badly and people are very polite and helpful). As such, and as they didn't have a proper complaint book (or, at least, it was not provided when requested), I left a note to the manager.

Krabi SeaBass is a charming small hotel in the heart of Krabi, just a short 5-minute walk from the night market, making it a convenient spot for exploring the area. The rooms are beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean—you can immediately tell from the fresh scent of the bedding. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We were lucky to stay in a pool access room, which was a fantastic experience. However, it’s worth noting that the steps leading into the pool are quite high, which could be challenging for guests with mobility issues. The staff truly made our stay special—always smiling, friendly, and eager to assist with any questions or requests. While the breakfast selection was quite minimal, there was still something to suit different tastes. The hotel also offers a good massage service, which was a nice bonus. Overall, Krabi SeaBass is a great choice for those looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located stay in Krabi. Great value for money we’ve paid. Just be mindful of the pool access if mobility is a concern. Would definitely recommend!

We arrived yesterday evening to stay 2 nights. Behind the front desk, it was two nice ladies who speak ok English. Check in went smoothly, after all it was just us (me and my boyfriend). We got our room in four floor (1403). We didn't know what to expect, (cous some reviews was good and some was quite poorly). The room is painted in a white color on the walls, the size of the room is ok, on the bed there were two towers forming like a fan. So everything looks cleaned and organized. The bed was good not to soft, and the breakfast was good as well to our taste. (Don't expect too many choices, there were some Thai food and some western food). The location of the hotel, from my point of view is good. It's walking distance to the city center where all the market is located, such as Krabi night market, Maharaj market, Krabi town night market and vogue shopping center. So, if u want to stay for a couple of days and check out Krabi down town this hotel is the relaxing place. If you want to swim/sun bathing this not the hotel or place to recommend, all thou this hotel has a nice small swimming pool.
