Mom’s Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We went there after reading the reviews and also since it was near TubKaek beach. We went in around 130pm and we were told it was closed (with a door sign saying Opens at 5pm) but then they called us back to say they are open. Ordered Stir fried kangkung (morning glory), Stir Fried mix veg, Tom Yam soup, steamed Seabass, Papaya Salad, 1 x large Chang beer and 4 x tender coconuts to share for 4 pax - food was served fresh after a 20min wait but was worth the wait. Delicious and amazing food, spicy to the standard (high levels) that we wanted and are used to, veggies were cooked to perfection and they also cooked it pure veg style as we requested it. Portion sizes were very good. The 3 ladies that cooked and served it were very friendly. Altogether cost us 1.3k baht which is very reasonable, considering we spent the same amount the previous night in our resort's resto for 2 pax. Must visit if you are in Krabi, especially if u r staying in Klong Muang or Tub...

Very cute and cozy restaurant. The food is amazing, cooked with love from a chef who knows well how to use ingredients to satisfy any discerning palate. Every dish is presented in a beautiful, fresh, and appetizing way. Everything is super fresh, and portions are generous (like I like 😊). The lady at the service is very professional, and all her colleagues at the bar are also very sweet and attentive. A very nice experience. One of the best diners in Thailand. Among all the gorgeous food, my favorite may have been the most simple: prawns in coconut cream and galangal. It's usually one of my favorite dishes, and this was the best I've ever had. But the rest was outstanding too. I'm a chef, I've been cooking since I was 14, and I've owned a restaurant for 19 years. This is my fifth time in Thailand, and I've also taken Thai cooking courses.
