The Naga Terrace Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and was very disappointed with the food.

The setting is great and I loved the Margarita cocktail (hence the 2 stars) but the food was a big let down, especially when you’re paying a lot more than at the average Thai restaurant.

My boyfriend ordered a rose pasta and he said it was tasteless, he had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it edible and the sauce was somewhat sweet as well.

I ordered a tenderloin BBQ steak and it was again, tasteless. There was zero seasoning and even after adding quite a lot of salt and garlic butter, it still wouldn’t go down so all I could eat was a couple of bites.

The steak was not flamed grilled on the BBQ, it seems they wrap everything in foil before putting on the BBQ so it was very pale and broiled rather than grilled and it was also very undercooked (I like it medium-rare but my steak was blue, still cold inside) - I was going to send it back to cook more but I don’t think that would have affected the taste much so I didn’t bother.

I also had shrimp spring rolls as a starter and there was only 1 small shrimp in each one and barely any vegetables/anything else so it was like eating a an empty deep fried pastry and again, tasteless.

The house red wine was almost as bland as the food.

One of the waiters saw that I left almost all my food on the plate and asked if it was ok and when I explained why it wasn’t he just smiled and walked away.

With a bill of nearly 3,000 baht I went home hungry and...

The location and the view is very beautiful , the stuff is awesome and the food is crazy great. The place would be 5 stars if the barman knew how to make cocktails , I live negronis , where ever I go , I order one negroni , I love to pair with a good cigar , I have ordered a negroni and they brought a glass with 85% ice , the dirty ice ( sticks ) , not the original cubic ice , it was straight away diluted very bad , so I order another one but without ice , so I can see what the problem , the barman put 5 ml 5 ml and 5 ml so 15 ml of cocktail , like a spoon , proper spoon size The original recipe is 30 ml 30 ml and 30 ml In the end , I ask for a beer Come here , it’s a nice place , drink anything but cocktails If manager see this , please ask for a cocktail and teach the guys how to make a cocktails before have it in the menu They charge me only for one not for...

What a great night. It was my girlfriend’s thirtiest birthday and we celebrated it in style. I went there the afternoon before our reservation to organise a birthday cake for her. Service was very friendly, very fast and super nice. Drinks took a while but we were nine people so it always takes a while, no worries. All the drinks made from scratch. Happy hour from 5.30 to 6.30 pm. Food was very good as well, a few ordered from the special bbq menu this night, so did I. Everyone was happy, even though my steak was cooked too far.
