Very chill and laid back vibes, facing the beach. Good place to knock back a few cold brewskis with friends and have a nice seafood dinner in the process. Owner is cool and friendly, and will regale you with stories of interesting people he has met while running the place Looks very much like a family run business with his mum, daughter/in-law and son/in-law and grandkid. Try their deep fried crabcakes, all my other dining companions thought it went really well with our cold Chang Beer. Also great was their Ka-Phrao Gai( Chicken Minced Meat in basil and chilli) as well as their CrabMeat Fried Rice as the staple main. Just dun order their steamed fish dishes. It had a strong fishy taste and wasnt super fresh. Prices were very fair and inexpensive compared to other dining places on the beach. Do give them a try, as I feel that they do punch above their weight class, where Krabi is concerned. Check out that superb sunset along the beach!

Loads of different seating for big families to couples, basic park type seating. The menu has a vast variety of thai food, couldn't see much for vegetarians but I'm sure they can make it for you. All the food we ordered was average, nothing that really made us think "wow" nice to eat but nothing special. The plate of shrimp sashimi was big, and quite a lot of shrimps! My fried peas were ok, quite a few that had blackening on the pods though, most westerners will like to eat food that looks fresh so could put some off. The seafood Tom yum had a fair amount of seafood included and was yest again just ok. Oysters came out a good size.
Service was ok, there was 1 man who was very jovial, others seemed moody, get more staff like the friendly guy!
For 3x oysters, a seafood Tom yum, garlic shrimp sashimi, fried peas and 3 beers expect to pay around 1100b. It's ok for food but there are...
Read moreIf you are going there for cheap and good food, then this is not the place. The prices of the food is similar to what other restaurants offer. The food we ordered: (i) fried squid with garlic; (ii) some spicy pork rib soup; (iii) omelette with pork.
Our comments: (i) the amount of fried squid was small and took up only maybe 20% of the dish? The rest was just fried garlic skin. (ii) the pork rib soup was overly spicy with very little ingredients (this is coming from someone who loves spicy food). Pork ribs was tiny and insignificant. (iii) the omelette was the only food that was acceptable except for the fact that the salt was not evenly spread out.
Overall conclusion: a very unsatisfactory eating experience & not value for money. There are other restaurants which can offer wayyyyy better quality food at somewhat similar prices. Will never visit the...
