This review is about the new Cafe which has moved up 50 meters and is now in the parterre floor of Yotaka@Pai hotel on the same walking street.

This lovely new & now upscaled place offers traditional plates but also a lot of veggie preparations, tasty shakes and great deserts. The various dishes taste as good as they sound and look on their well thought photographic menu card.

You will find here as well a series of breakfasts and brunches, different pastas, home made hamburgers, great vegetarian plates with avocado salades and tomatoes, as more elaborated Egg recepies. Add to it various fruit drinks, deserts, teas and coffes..warm&cold! (*Avocado season from June to December)

The kitchen gives attention to details and to prepare quality food (with freshlocal products) which may result in waiting times during full seasons rush hours

The new place is now more cosy with a lot of shade, many fans and right next to the hotel's pool. Customers of the restaurant are allowed to use the pool. You will therefore surely enjoy a tasty and relaxed moment while zipping some Italian Soda & watching people passing by.

One of the better and now upscaled places in PAI to enjoy a healthy meal in a nice ambiance

But best is to come in and find out...

For my three days that I was in Pai I had breakfast here every single day. I normally try a different cafe or restaurant every time yet the food was soo good the first 2 times that I kept coming back.

On the first day I had the avocado on toast with 2 poached eggs and the ratio of it all was perfect. The second time I tried their smoked salmon bagol which was even better and had just a little bit of everything in the right amounts on there. Thirdly I got the pancakes which were of normal quality, but came in large quantity. With all these orders I got myself an iced ginger-lemon-honey tea since the quality of this drink surprised me from the get go.

The food is done nicely, the waiting time in general isn't too long and they have a large option on their menu for food and drinks.

The service is consistent, they all have their assigned tasks, yet some of the staff could definitely be a little kinder towards customers.

I personally liked coming here a lot and would recommend this cafe to anyone. They literally have anything you...

The dishes they claim and advertise to be vegan are not vegan!!!!! The bread they use is with milk. The only vegan options they have is plant based milk. We came to eat there after we saw on this app that they have vegan options. We asked them to tell us what they have that’s vegan on the menu, and they didn’t bother- in their two restaurants. When we sat down, we wanted to order and I wanted to make sure that the dish is vegan, and I asked three (!) times- they said yes. After I asked if the bread is vegan, they said no. They didn’t seem bothered that they claim to have vegan dishes while it’s not, and while it could be deadly to people who are allergic to dairy! I absolutely don’t recommend this place, stay out- especially if your allergic- who knows what they could be making...

The problem here is inconsistency… Pros: There are like 4 seating rooms between two buildings. The smaller cafe building has air conditioning. They have Wi-Fi and is one of the few places in Pai that accepts credit card. (With a percentage charge) The menu is creative and large. The drinks I’ve had: chai tea and backyard herbs tea are great! (The hot version is much better imo). The staff is friendly and welcoming and accommodating with food substitutions Cons: I’ve visited multiple times and the atmosphere and food were great. I fell in love with the shakshouka my first visit but unfortunately the next time I ordered it, they’d changed the recipe. The sausages were skimpy and oddly textured and the eggs were dry. Third time, I got the beef and it was a dry hamburger patty.
