C Bar — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

This is one of my favorite bars I have discovered in all my travels around the world. From the moment you walk in you are transported to a different time and place - from the perfectly curated retro décor (shout out to the old-school Mario Brothers console and vintage leather cinema seats!), to the impeccable soundtrack enhanced by nostalgic music videos, to the best cocktails to be found in Pai - this place is the true definition of an entire vibe. The bar also became a lifestyle and destination in its own right for my group of friends. After discovering it our first night we went back every night thereafter, and it truly felt like we were at home - hanging out in the best possible living room imaginable drinking craft cocktails and enjoying one another's company. But what truly sets this bar apart is the Thai owner, Ey (please forgive the misspelling!), who is a kindred spirit that also became an instant friend. Not only is this bar a culmination of his vision and pristine taste, but he also exemplifies what true hospitality is all about. For example, he created a signature cocktail for our crew that we named the 'Leaky Satchel' (don't forget to order one when you head in!) - which quickly became our drink of choice throughout the trip. I could go on, and though I rarely leave Google reviews, I couldn't help but sing the praises of this hidden gem. Thank you Ey - you truly made our group's trip to Pai unforgettable and we can't wait to order another round of Leaky Satchels from you...

Lovely bar with fantastic decor. We came as a group of 7 and before we sat down the owner had given us the price per beer and that it would be cheaper if we split a bigger bottle. Very accomodating with our different drink choices. The owner then brought us a free shot to do which was a lovely gesture. Also let us know the other great bars to visit in the area. Fantastic customer service....

Wow, you will love this place when you are into 80/90ies retro and good real music, not only out of the Speakers but also on old school screens. Cold Beer and nice Cocktails.
