They have a separate vegetarian section in the menu and being vegetarians, we ordered a pizza and pasta from that section - we pointed at the items. But both were served with prawns. When we returned the food, the waiter started arguing that we ordered for prawn. Basic rule of hospitality - don't argue or get upset when there is an issue with dietary preference or allergy. It seems, the waiter heard "add corn" as "add prawn". Why would we ask u to add prawn when we are ordering from vegetarian section. Anyway, we asked what vegetarian salad we can order. He suggested, ceaser salad and offered to remove bacon. All we got was lettuce with dressing and few pieces of croutons. When asked him to add some veggies like tomatoes and corn (also offered to pay for it), he said he cannot add anything to the lettuce! After all of this, the cutlery was not given to us even 10 mins after serving food - the restaurant hardly had 6 tables that were occupied and the...
Read moreThe visit to this restaurant was by far the most disappointing of our entire Asia trip. Although we were the only two guests, we had to wait a very long time before our order was taken. After ordering two pizzas (crispy thin), the waitress brought the bill in a leather case, which she placed on the plates intended for the pizza. Simply unhygienic! We were also allowed to prepare the cutlery ourselves. The pizza was served on a flaky dough, without yeast. Any Italian would have been offended. The waitresses didn't even bother to ask us what we wanted to drink. Which made it impossible for us to wash down the pastry. After the meal, the waitresses sat down at the bar and gossiped, so that after waiting for about 20 minutes, we had to actively ask the waitress to collect the money.

Read moreThe aroma enticed us, the menu lured us, the food pleased us. The food options at most of the restaurants in the resorts are not always well priced, convenience is the key. The Pizza Company provides nearly as much convenience with a fraction of the 'convenient' mark-up. The food quality is on par with any established worldwide pizza chain, nothing extraordinary or too over the top (save maybe the shrimp stuffed crust?). The wings were cooked well and flavored as well. The kids menu is right inline with most international chains. The "Pizza Puffs" while they appear as some version of a simple calzone are made with a much more buttery dough and that richness comes through in...
