American Bar & Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Pattaya City

We arrived late, 22:10 nobody else in the restaurant. We ordered quickly and then had to wait 25 minutes for the food. Food is very good, although quite salty. At 22:50 staff started dragging black bin liners through the restaurant. Staff started to stand close to our table. We got the distinct impression they wanted to go home. The rest of our meal we asked to take away. Disappointing end to a nice meal

I am editing my comment as I cannot reply to the owner. It would seem I am another customer that lies about his restaurant. He is not a good businessman if he ridicules customers this way (read other customers he has lambasted). I'm in the top 10% of reviewers in the world so I do not lie. We had plans to go back to the restaurant at an earlier time, that will never happen now and I will make sure that all of my friends avoid American bar and grill. the problem here at this restaurant is that it needs to decide on an identity. find a sweet spot you can be good at instead of trying to have a menu to please everyone and their 2nd cousins. its nice and clean inside, but the food is just OK. the chinese stuff taste like panda express and the american stuff taste like a asian cook trying to make american food. instead of doing everything just ok, why not do few things awesome and get known for it? i feel like i can repeat this critique towards many in pattaya. stop trying to cater to everyone! find your identity and people will come. because nowadays, if you have few great items on your menu, people will post it on social media and the buzz will start. i love the space, nice decor and size. definitely...

We were lured in several posts in the Wine & Dine fb group. It's a nice place with diverse menu and food was beautifully presented. Pasta was fantastic! My wife found it a bit too al dente, so next time we'll ask to cook the noodles a bit longer. It'd be nice if they asked about preference in that regard, but not a big deal either way for me. The Chinese dishes were good too but less impressive. Beef had a strange texture but was tender and tasty.
