The Devonshire Restaurant & Guesthouse — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I had heard a number of good reports and decided to go and try for myself. Eating area is large and opens out to Soi lengkee. Fans everywhere but can get hot. Quick to get served with 5 other customers already there. Ordered the small breakfast for 139thb. Overall fine though I wasn't impressed by the bacon that had been fried 2 or more times and the half piece of fried bread was very oily and not something I would normally order. Breakfast deals are known for including coffee or tea and I love coffee and realise that the coffee offered is mediocre at best so ordered a cappuccino. It came with a creamy top but the beans were just average in flavour. At the end of the meal I was starting to get hot so asked for a very small glass of iced water. The lady served me a bottle of water and ice in a glass. Check bin and the cappuccino was 55 meaning that the included coffee wasn't upgraded but just forgotten. The water was 30 making the 2 extras 85 or more than 50% of the breakfast cost. There are many other places for fry up...

Actually, I have never eaten at the Devonshire Restaurant. Maybe I will do so one day. But I am giving it five stars because the owner's responses are very entertaining. A little punchy. Nevertheless, still very entertaining. Gave me a good laugh.

Well, I finally made it to the Devonshire restaurant one fine Pattaya morning for breakfast. Let me get this off my chest first. I do not believe any of the negative reviews regarding the staff members. It was my first time dining at the Devonshire and all the servers were polite and friendly. I had the fresh squeezed orange juice to go with my meal. The orange juice is excellent. Everyone should try it. It’s well worth the 120 Baht. Too bad, some customers think fresh squeezed orange juice is free. The menu clearly states that it is 120 Baht.

Unfortunately, I cannot eat at the Devonshire every day because the lady servers at my regular restaurant would kill me if they found out that I "cheated" on them. I am more than...

Wouldn't bother ever going in this place again. Staff member made a mistake with my order which in itself wasn't a problem however it was afterwards, staff member tried to blame me for a completely wrong order, the way I was spoken too by the staff member was disgusting & totally unwarranted. The icing on the cake was the way the owner dealt with it, THE SAME DISGUSTING MANNER HIS STAFF WERE. EVEN CALLED ME A PRICK because he's only paying his staff 400 Baht a day ( approx £5 he even had the cheek to say what should I expect. A GREAT WAY TO ENCOURAGE CUSTOMERS IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT NOT.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EAT OR EVEN VISIT this place.

To add insult owner states another bell end well shows level of customer service he knows NONE.
