FOLK — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I visited this restaurant three times for dinner during my last year visit to Pattaya. Located inside the walking street beside Mouline Rouge and right opposite to Fahrenheit bar. It is bit expensive but due to its location and service as well as taste of Pizza I felt it was worth its price. You will really like the atmosphere there during night. I am not sure if it remains open during day time. They have wide range of food items along with Pizza but on all my visit there I ordered pizza only hence can't comment on other food items.The service was good. They have outdoor as well as indoor sitting arrangements. The big problem i facee was due to n availability of non smoking area there. I don't smoke hence I had tough time eating there when a gentleman was smoking. All in all my overall experience was good. Stepping into the restaurant was a nice change from the loudness and busyness of Walking Street at night. We ordered a pizza to share and then individual meals. The spaghetti and meatballs was average and slightly disappointing. The lamb shank looked nothing like the picture in the menu; the dish given to me was a shank soaked in a thick gravy with a very strong taste of pepper and the mash potato was nowhere to be seen (see comparison shots below). We chose to dine here because we had seen positive reviews for it and also the photos online showed that this place had character and a certain ‘ambiance’ to it. It is around the middle of the walking street; you can't miss it with its distinct red light and neon signs. Not only is the front beautiful, but the inside is also well-designed, with a fusion aesthetic similar to its menu, serving Italian, Western, and Thai food. This place is an escape from the wildness of Pattaya's walking street.

However, I was disappointed with the food. The ribs in the picture were inedible, as hard as a rock. They were returned and subsequently removed from the bill. What was left for me and my girlfriend was an overpriced truffle pizza, which was chewy and bland. Fortunately, there was a 7-Eleven nearby.
