Kohinoor Indian Food (oldest and best indian restaurant in pattaya) — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I recently had the chance to dine at Kohinoor Restaurant, located right in front of Camelot Hotel in Pattaya, and I must say—it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, and as someone who enjoys authentic flavors, I was genuinely impressed.

What stood out the most for me was their South Indian menu. The dishes were delicious and tasted just like home—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. It’s not always easy to find that level of authenticity outside India, but Kohinoor nailed it.

A special mention to Mr. Prem Kumar who served me. He was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Service like that adds so much to the overall experience.

Many times I walked passed in front of this restaurant and finally today I went in. Actually I was pretty scared and mindful about Indian food etc.. but.. I'm absolutely impressed! This evening I had one of the best food experiences in my life. The food was absolutely delicious, rich and very complex flavor. The highway masala paneer was absolutely insane good. Silky, smooth, savory, rich and spicy. OMG I love it. The chicken butter was fluffy, sweet very delicate. I definitely recommend the food this restaurant. The staff is nice but cannot speak English properly, but can help you to select the food and explain the recipes. Also the location is cozy and very clean. 3 plates + 3 bread + 1 rice + 4 beers...

In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in Pattaya. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Large selection of dishes. Cooked with soul by real professionals and culinary masters. The portions are large and very appetizing, the price is not high. Inside is a very beautiful, atmospheric interior in Indian style, good music. Large premises, clean, neat. The restaurant is located next to Walking Street, so I definitely recommend visiting.
