La Bocca Pattaya — Restaurant in Pattaya City

It was very good before.. The ham is too salty but the pizza dough was nice. The Greek salad was 88% local cucumbers, a few olive and several tomatoes (not recommend this dish). The foods presentation was a bit off for burrata salad. The best dish was lasagna and complimentary breads. The service were confusing with the ladies in the white shirts. They can't understand well and made us a little headaches. The only person who had a fluently in English and service oriented was the slim half Thai Chinese gentleman. The waitresses needed a lot of training in English language. Do not let them approach customers and heard "not yet" to mean "yes" etc. Hmmm if we were serve by those gentleman at all time and had not encountered of a bit of headaches I would add 1 more star...

It was late at night and we were hunting around in Pattaya and Jomtien area for a place to have dinner. I remembered this place I always pass by as I turn right going to Jomtien beach when I drive from Bangkok. We called them, and they said they are open until half past eleven. And the place did not disappoint! Had good spaghetti. Creamy sauce. The margherita pizza also had good cheese and the dough was just right. But the queen of the night was definitely their beef lasagna. The cheese just melts in your mouth, man! Was a most satisfying evening. We topped it all with a good half glass of their Shiraz! Arrived with high expectations and left hungry - what a major disappointment. Greeted and the order was taken by a very professional young man. From the table to the kitchen some of the order was lost. What did come out was embarrassing. A shrimp cocktail drowned in sauce and a pasta that cracked and was flavorless. When confronted about the missing order - instead of an apology after 45 minutes the response was 5 more minutes. The food never came after another 10 minutes. First place in Pattaya and Thailand for that matter that service was an issue. Many other places to chose from when in Pattaya. I would get Italian when you...
