Salotto — Restaurant in Pattaya City

This was my second visit to the restaurant. The first time, I was served by the owner and had a great experience—good food and pleasant service.

Unfortunately, this time was very different. We came as a family and noticed a table outside becoming available. Since we hadn’t ordered yet, my wife (who is Thai) politely asked if we could move there. The waitress responded in a cold and unwelcoming manner. After waiting a few minutes with no further communication, I asked again—only to be shouted at with a very rude “Up to you!”

Her tone and attitude were offensive enough that we decided to leave without ordering. If you work in the service industry and treat customers like that, perhaps it’s time to consider a different profession.

I just had my first meal from the nice restaurant in Jomtien. The owner just happned to be available for me to beg for his recommendation from his long list of artisan, authentic Italian style pizzas. I had a glass of Italian red while they made my pizza and the pizza did not disappoint me. It was a delicious Italian style thin crust wonderfully excuted pizza; a very authentic pizza suitable to eat by hand or Roma syle with knife and fork. Just look at the picture and it was just as tasty as well as photogenic. I would not hesitate to return and tray another and another and another item...

AUTHENTIC ITALIAN. Found this little Italian restaurant while on holidays. Didn't look much from the front ,basic decor etc but so glad we tried it ,the italian owner and his wife are a lovely couple and great hosts. The salad lovely and fresh. His pizzas were larger than normal size compared to other italian restaurants we had visited. Pizza salami loaded with salami and very tasty,his italian sausage pizza and his house special the mushroom pizza were amazing. Pizzas not shy of toppings and fresh ingredients.
