O Delices Bakery — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to revise my previous positive review of 9 months ago due to my poor experience upon visiting this bakery this morning.

The bread is still fantastic and their biggest selling point, but the service and coffee left a lot to be desired. I ordered the 280 baht breakfast omelette set with an extra demi baguette. My baguettes came out first but no sign of the omelette or coffee. The omelette arrived ten minutes later and was pretty small for the price and compared to before. There was also still no sign of the coffee and I had to remind the server multiple times about this before it arrived a further ten minutes more.

I also had to ask several times for condiments and the coffee when it finally arrived was rather weak and bland.

I would like to suggest that time is spent training the serving staff and perhaps look into another coffee supplier. There are many quality suppliers in Thailand. I hope these details will be looked at as before it was...

Coffee is good. I recommend the Capuccino. They have freshly squeezed orange juice and their own bakery which produces french croissants, cakes, pastry,....all of this really great. But: the service is to be improved. And what i cannot understand is that (while the owner is on site) a lorry is parking in front of the fully occupied terrace with running engine while delivering some goods to the restaurant. An absolute no go and typical Thai style. Would expected the French owner to intervene.. but maybe he incorporated Thai behaviour too much. What a pity. They do some things right, but struggle with the details

I visited the place again in February 2025 and will not go there anymore. I can only advise the owner to revise his concept. Since my last visit the quality went down and especially the so called fresh orange juice is more water and...

Amazing food and drink all 5 star. I'm sorry to say the service was although friendly it was lacking in communication. The souffle omelette was a masterpiece, unfortunately we had ordered 1 with ham and 1 with ham and blue cheese. 2 ham and blue cheese had been prepared so I had to wait whilst mine was redone (it takes 10 minutes) from scratch without blue cheese.

The only negative I would say is they don't take card, having spent just short of 1000 baht I would be happier to pay by card. We may go back as the food is delicious but the small negatives will affect our decision. The bread...
