New India Restaurant — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Always enjoyed my visit here over the years but this time I would have given it zero stars if possible. I had chicken Madras and my friend chicken jalfrezi . We both ordered keema naan. Well my curry was more like soup as the sauce was so thin and the naans were hard like crisps( obviously overdone). But they were like no other naan I had seen. They should have been large and fluffy. These I suspect were a cheaper product. I complained and they said they would cook some more. Whilst we were waiting I quieried the Madras. Tha lady boss took it away and thickened what was left in the metal serving bowl. My friend had almost finished his meal when they returned with the 'nan'. Not much better but at least it was not burnt. I ended up eating my curry with a spoon as I had nothing to mop it up with. Terrible meal and I would never go back there again even if...

I have been eating in this restaurant during a couple of years now and it is as good as ever. The owners are new since a while back but they are keeping the same dishes and are making them with the same love and enthusiasm as always. The former owner did a great job with the restaurant and the new owners are just as good and serious about the food and everything else.

I would even say that the new owners are more service minded as I have been asked how I want my food etc. And for next time they will try to make a dish that I have a special request for; and that is one of the shrimp dishes but I also want a good portion of vegetables to go with that. I am already looking forward to see how that will be. It's great when the staff truly care about the customers and that's exactly what the staff are doing in New India...

Was a bad experience from the start. I ordered a set meal from the board outside where i was sitting.. i was waiting for the starter to arrive but not only did the starter arrive but the whole set meal arrived i was bit shocked cause after eating my starter my main meal had gone cold. Which i then left most of it it was not only cold but not to great either. Inside the reataurant im could see some of the staff sitting down staring at me im not really sure what there problem was but i felt quite intimidate.. when the waitress came out i mentioned to her about some of the staff staring . She went on to tell them but they didnt seem bothered. Bad experience all round...
