Subway @Jomtien — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Today I ordered a ham and cheese Subway sub and was very unhappy with the experience. The disagreeable odors of stale dried herbs, like oregano and garlic powder greeted me when I entered the store.

Subway’s Italian roll is a decided misnomer. I’d expect a crusty roll with a soft interior and a hearty European bready flavor. The Subway roll is Wonder Bread-soft and insipid. The outside of the roll is anything but crusty, and perhaps just a bit gooey. The ‘ham’ used is a boiled pork product, missing the rich and smoky flavor I’d expect. The cheese was American, one of the least flavorful cheeses available. A sharp Swiss cheese or similar could have been lovely.

Shredded iceberg lettuce was used to top the sandwich. Just about any other salad green would have had more flavor than iceberg. I had hoped to finish the sub off with dijon mustard or at least a spicy brown mustard, but my choices were a yellow salad mustard or “honey mustard”. I chose the honey mustard, expecting a Nance’s-type condiment. Subway’s honey mustard is as sugary as pancake syrup and has hardly any mustard flavor. Instead of enhancing the sandwich, the intense sweetness only made it nastier.

I’ve tried hard to find something positive to say about my experience at Subway, but just can’t. Chances are, any other luncheon venue choice would have been...

Well .. where do i even start, just went to grab some a few min ago, honestly i dont like the service... if your staff is new , you better trained them very good since the first day so they dont get lost in the middle of thier service , since entering the store and start the order i always have to repeat my words, thats very annoying, didnt even put the right sauce on and also what was put on my sandwich its not even worth the price... keep your standards rights becuase this subway location is probably the worst i have ever...

Poor staff service. Ignored me because they were making a sandwich but it was only one sandwich and there were three staff members. I asked for two cookies, showed with my two fingers too. I got three and was charged for three. When I told them I only ordered two, they took my bag, put back the third cookie and handed my bag back without considering giving me a refund before I had to ask for it.

Stuff like this, puts me off going back and bad attitude of staff really eaves and bad taste...
