I regret to report a deeply unpleasant experience with Mr. Shiv. On Thursday evening, May 23, 2024, I approached Mr. Shiv regarding a taxi service for a 2-3 hour trip to the Sanctuary of Truth for four individuals, including three adults and one child below 130 cm in height. Despite my inquiry about differing ticket prices for children, Mr. Shiv provided a misleading proposal, insisting on a flat rate for all passengers. He even fabricated stories about ticket booking requirements to justify his deceitful pricing scheme. After paying a 500 TBH deposit based on his provided quote, our trip on May 24 at 9:30 am was marred by further deception. The driver demanded additional payment upon arrival, sparking a dispute over the discrepancy in child ticket prices. Shockingly, Mr. Shiv not only refused a refund but also resorted to using foul language and abuse. He then proceeded to block our contact details. We ended up at sardarji one afternoon when we were craving tandoori chicken in the middle of Thailand. The restaurant was courteous, friendly and so warm. (Warm as in friendly, not hot). They had just started operations and yet fired up the tandoor just for two of us. Sardarji himself served us a couple of drinks and regaled us with stories of his past and the shipwreck that the pandemic was. We ended up having a delicious meal. Top notch tandoori chicken, delectable dal fry and naans. I like to think that the smells attracted several other Desis and everyone had a great time that afternoon.

We recently dined here in Penang and enjoyed our experience. The food was of good quality and value and the staff were accommodating. One team member in particular was outstanding, extremely friendly, and gave excellent service.

Our only minor points for improvement: no kebabs were available despite expectations, and when the menu listed Coke Zero or Pepsi Zero, they weren’t offered, which was slightly inconvenient for those avoiding sugary drinks.

Other than these small details, everything was excellent. We would happily return and highly recommend...
