A small restaurant serving Italaian food with friendly happy staff. The pizzas are super thin crust just as they should be & very tasty. There is a selection of pastas & gnocchi all very tasty not forgetting the delicious lasagne which i had several times. The italian food is all worth having with an average price of 240bht per dish & around 320bht for the pizzas. The downside is if you order anything else on the menu it can vary in portion size everytime you order it. I had a lovely chicken salad one night & ordered it again another night. The waitress told me there would be a wait as they had a big group in upstairs, waiting was no problem for me. When the chicken salad arrived it had hardly any chicken on it. Nothing like the one i had previously had. When i mentioned it to the waitress she just said 'Im sorry' . (See pics of the two salads) My next course was sweet & sour chicken with about a teaspoon size of chicken in it. I think they ran out of chicken & just put the scraps they had left to make these two plates. Better to say we dont have any chicken left then serve a chicken dish with no chicken. For a change my last dish i ate there was salmon served with mashed potatoe & some side salad. The salmon was perfect but look at the pic below. Absolutely no effort was made to present this dish. Two lettuce leaves just plonked on the plate, no tomato or anything else just lettuce. Either put nothing or put some tomato or something. This was the last time i ate there. In conclusion, go for the pasta & the pizzas but avoid...
Read moreI had a good time at Toto. Tramisu is Top-notch which is recommended by Fabio that recipe is from southern Italy. It's so light, so easy to finish it quickly.
Lasagna is good.
I tried Gnocchi... I wasn't sure to try at first.
I had Gnocchi in Italy once from a resort at the middle of nowhere North Italy and it was soooo delicious. I still remember it.
So when I read Toto's menu. I'd like to give it a try. I spoke with Fabio telling him that I'd like to try Gnocchi but I don't eat something as described in the menu. So he checked with the chef to make something for me. When my Gnocchi arrived, I was surprised and realized that I didn't be specific enough about my disliking. My Gnocchi came with cream sauce which I am not a big fan of cream. I give it a try anyway. As a result, it was unexpectedly delicious. I finished the dish with cream sauce (actually not my favourite). I ate it all.
Gnocchi is Top-notch, 5 🌟 stars for the Gnocchi itself. It's light and soft and not heavy at all.
Fabio is very friendly and lovely. I definitely come back again for Gnocchi but next time I will be more specific how I like to eat and it's very simple. I am sure the chef can make the magic 👍. I am looking forward to...
Read moreI had dinner at this Italian restaurant yesterday. The food was surprisingly good—carefully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with attention to detail. The local staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Special credit to the manager, who was doing an excellent job keeping everything on track. At one point, I saw a pasta dish being served to the table next to mine—it looked so good I immediately regretted ordering a pizza (which was still very decent, to be fair). The kitchen clearly has talent. Unfortunately, the entire experience was let down by the owner, who seems to operate under the philosophy that the best way to run a restaurant is from a distance—ideally a great one. His absence is felt not just in the missing Italian touch, but in the overall energy of the place. I asked to speak with him about a small issue, but rather than show even the most basic courtesy, he simply refused to appear. Not unavailable—just unwilling. It’s impressive, in a way, how someone can be so elusive and yet still manage to cast such a negative shadow. It’s a shame. With better leadership—or simply a touch of humility from the top—this place could...
