My first visit to The Sportsman Bar in Pattaya was an absolute delight and definitely worth sharing. The bar has a warm, welcoming vibe, and it quickly felt like a place where everyone knows each other. The crowd here mostly consists of British and European expats and tourists, giving the place a friendly, old-school pub atmosphere. Even as a first-timer, I was greeted with smiles, and the people around were warm and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better.
I ordered a pint of beer, which was chilled perfectly and set the right tone for the evening. For starters, I tried their prawns barbecue, which were fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The highlight of my meal was the custard pudding for dessert, which was comforting, classic, and the perfect sweet ending. The food overall was excellent, and the staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely hospitable throughout my visit.
Adding to the charm of the evening, I got to enjoy the India vs England Test match live on their big screens. The lively, yet relaxed sports bar atmosphere combined with great food and drinks made it the perfect spot to sit back, chat, and soak in the game.
Overall, The Sportsman Bar is a gem for anyone looking for good food, cold drinks, friendly people, and live sports in Pattaya. I highly recommend it for a laid-back night out, whether you’re a sports fan or just looking to enjoy a warm, social atmosphere with...
Read moreI've ordered the Ceasar salad here several times and I thought it's time to put my review on it here. Who puts warm chicken in a Ceasars salad?? If you are cooking fresh chicken to be added to this salad please chill it first then add it to the salad. Second, the lettuce portion was so minimal I felt like eating chicken and dressing. Lettuce is the main ingredient in a Ceasar salad, please increase the lettuce portion to fill the plate with lettuce for proper portion and presentation. please take some time to train your chefs on how to properly prepare a simple Ceasar salad. For the price,, the whole portion seemed undersized. its got a lot of room for improvement, fill the plate with lettuce then add the other ingredients, cold not hot , dressing should be presented on the side. Third, I had the fish and chips and the oil seemed it was overdue for replacement. French fries were brown and so was the fish, change your oil often please. Please take this as constructive criticism to improve this items on your menu from a customer who has been to your establishment many many times as your other menu items are great, and I will return to eat the cesar salad again, this is simply a customer who is a seasoned chef giving honest feedback for a slight suggestion for...
Read moreI hate writhing negative reviews but bringing my concerns to the attention of the on-sight staff didn't go over well. I have eaten there a total of 6 times in the last two weeks. Being an American I like my eggs over easy for breakfast. The first time I ordered my breakfast with over easy eggs there it came out perfect. The last three times I have ordered the same breakfast the eggs have come with the yokes fully cooked. The first time this happened I sent them back and when I received my breakfast back the eggs were cooked exactly the same as the ones I rejected and everything else on the plate was cold now. Today I thought I would try them again as I like the atmosphere but again I received my eggs cooked hard. When paying I asked if a manager was available and he wasn't so I tried to explain to the staff that I don't understand how I keep getting eggs I didn't order even when stressing it to the server this happened before. Long story short I was given my money back which I didn't want, I said look I just want my breakfast cooked the way I order it I will try again tomorrow please have the cook ready to cook over easy eggs. I was told I am not welcome back if I can't...
