Beach Grill — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

I ate here 2 nights , the same menu..and I found the food is quite decent good…except the fried that I had the first night which was kinda soft and soaking…so on the second night I changed it to salad. The service was good when I learned that I should have made a reservation to be seated in a more attentive spot!! I mean the first night I went, I was seated quite beside, which the staff can’t really see me waving for more sauce or even the bill… but on the second night I made a reservation making sure I have the view and the nice seat!! 4명이서 스테이크 2개, 기타 등등 음식시켜서 5600바트 나왔습니다. 음식맛은 좋습니다. 분위기도 좋구요. 그러나 다른 직원분들은 친절하나, 딱 한명의 직원이 저희 모든 경험을 최악으로 만들었습니다.

chompoo 라는 직원, 진짜 불친절합니다. 본인 영어 발음이나 제 영어 발음이나 똑같은거 같은데, 잘못알아들을수 있죠. 근데 sorry 나 pardon 이 아닌 인상을 찌푸리며 uh? uh?! 이런식으로 되묻는 굉장히 기분나쁜 행동을 했고, 서양인들한테는 웃으면서 대했으나 저희쪽으로 오면 그냥 화가 나있더라구요?

리뷰쓰려고 보니 다른 한국분도 chompoo 라는 직원을 언급하셨네요. 상습적인거 보니 인종차별 주의자 인것 같습니다. 푸켓과 카오락 에서 보낸 8박9일의 시간중 제일 기분 나쁜 경험을 하게 해준 chompoo 라는 직원, 제발 정신 차리길 바랍니다.

르메르디앙 모든 직원이 친절했고, 특히 요가 수업해준 남자 직원분 어디서 마주치든 반갑게 인사해주셨는데, 이 모든 좋은 기억은 망친 chompoo 라는 직원.....

We ordered two steaks and other dishes for four people, and the total came out to 5,600 Baht. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Most of the staff were friendly, but one particular staff member completely ruined our experience.

The staff member named Chompoo was incredibly rude. Both her English pronunciation and mine were similar, so misunderstandings could happen. However, instead of saying “sorry” or “pardon,” she frowned and responded with a rude “Uh? Uh?!”, which was very unpleasant. She smiled and treated Western guests kindly, but whenever she came to our table, she looked visibly annoyed.

When I decided to write this review, I noticed that another Korean guest had also mentioned Chompoo in their review. Given this pattern, it seems like she is a habitual racist. Out of my entire 8-night, 9-day stay in Phuket and Khao Lak, this was the most unpleasant experience. I hope Chompoo realizes how inappropriate her behavior is.

All the other Le Méridien staff were kind, and I especially appreciated the male staff member who led the yoga class—he always greeted us warmly whenever we met. However, all these great memories were ruined by Chompoo.

Have been dealing with this hotel on a frequent basis. Every time happy to stay there . The staff exceedingly helpful in addressing our unique needs. Particularly, would like to commend the staff of a “Beach Grill” restaurant. They are fast, attentive, pleasant and genuinely care about their guests. I can not thank enough Chef Jum, Chef Ammy , waiters YaYa, Jane, Kwan, Yui, Chompoo for their excellent service. They went out of their way to fulfill our wishes and treated us like VIPs.
