Chantara Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Food was delicious! I ordered the salmon, it was well cooked and came with a really nice creamy sauce, veggies and a small portion of mashed potatoes. Had the chocolate chip ice cream for dessert, which was tasty but nothing special, just a small scoop.

Service was meh. There was a QR code on the table to order yourself, but it was slightly different than what we saw on the menu so we got a waitress. It seemed like she just did the app part for us though. There was a 7% service fee, I wonder if they would have charged it if we had ordered ourselves on the app.

Atmosphere was good! There was live music happening on the other side of the room, we couldn’t see it but it was VERY loud, but then...

Ambiente und Freundlichkeit sowie Sauberkeit sind eine glatte 5. Aber das Essen ist viel zu teuer. Und auf alles kommt noch Steuer und automatisch 10% Servicepauschale. Ohne diese sind die Preise schon gesalzen. Und ich weiß auch nicht, warum alles immer so lange dauert. Egal ob Getränke oder Essen.... es dauert gefühlt ewig.... Ich habe mich zum Buffet für 550Baht zzgl. Steuer und Service hinreißen lassen. Meine Begleitungen a la cart. Obwohl ich extra gefragt hatte, wie lange das Buffet noch geht, wurde sehr kurz darauf angefangen es abzubauen und es war auch schon sehr ausgesucht. Ich würde es daher ab 20:00 Uhr nicht mehr empfehlen. Lieber viel früher. Aber es war lecker. Die Cocktails haben gefühlt null Alkohol. Bei der Weinbestellung kam unsere Bedienung zwei Mal aus der Küche zurück, um uns zu sagen, dass dieser leider nicht mehr verfügbar ist. Bitte gleich die Karte aktualisieren. So hatte die Bestellung fast 15-20 min gedauert... Bis meine Begleiter ihr essen hatten war ich mit drei Gängen durch und hatte den Nachtisch schon angefangen. Massamann und Mango Sticky Rice dauern doch nicht soooo lange und es war auch nicht mehr viel los. Location ist...
