Joe's Steak House Khaolak — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

If you are lucky enough to "walk in " and get a table,in the high season, you should pick up a few lottery tickets also as you are definitely having good luck. Be careful if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies because the staff doesn't really care. I'm allergic porc and I ve ordered rumsteak mushroom and onion sauce with potatoes and onions. Nowhere it's mentioned about pork... But I fact there is some in the sauce and in the potatoes. When I discover it, I call the staff explain the situation, ask for a gesture,... They ve just answered that there is pork not mentioned but no apologies or...

We ordered filet steaks with french fries and bearnaise-sauce, one would expect a steakhouse would be able to deliver this basic dish. The fries were not fried enough so we sent it back. The beef was tender but had a boiled taste to it like it had been quickly fried and then simmered for a which left it tasting like stewmeat. The bearnaise was not eatable, we had to order garligbutter. I do believe the quality of the meat was good however...
