Larn deo — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Absolutely amazing family-ryn restaurant, we have stayed in Khao Lak twice and gone there several times on each stay. The food is delicious and freshly made, and the lemongrass mojitos are amazing. Try the spring rolls, red and Penang curries and leave space for mango and sticky rice at the end.

The staff are lovely and very kind to children as well. No air-con, but plenty of fans keep the room cool and there's plenty of space so you won't be packed in. It is wheel chair accessible but the ramp is quite steep.

As a bonus, they do laundry at a very reasonably fee (was 60bht per kilo in 2024) so you can drop off a bag the day before and pick it the next day when you...

My wife ordered Tom Yam soup. Ofcourse we aren't from Thailand so that's why we don't know the taste of the foods. The waiter asked spicy or no spicy? My wife said No Spicy. And after the waiter said a little? And my wife answered "ok then a little'. But after the waiter brought a very spicy soup. We visited Larn Deo several times during our stay in Khao Lak . Service was impeccable, lovely friendly family who run the place. I feel saddened to see such a negative review left before mine, this is not reflective of the service we received. perhaps the problem lies with the person opposed to the place itself.
