Our room was in a small, open-corridor style building with three floors. The room was clean and in basic condition – a bit worn, but not in a disturbing way. It had a working fridge, a safe, and adjustable air conditioning, which was a plus.

Initially, the biggest challenge was the constantly unstable internet connection. I reported the issue immediately, and maintenance staff came promptly to investigate. After the third complaint, a delegation led by the hotel manager arrived. After that visit, the connection worked flawlessly. The issue was clearly due to the network being under dimensioned for that part of the building, but it was handled well in the end.

The hotel was peaceful, and during our stay at the turn of March and April, most guests were adults. The beach was about a 10-minute walk through another hotel. However, going down the beach was really difficult because the steps are really high and slanted and the beach sand at that point was really steep.

Breakfast was quite good considering the hotel's star rating – there was something for everyone. As is common in many resorts, sun beds were reserved early in the morning, even though the users didn’t show up until midday. There was a guideline that sun beds could only be reserved for one hour, after which items would be removed, but in practice this wasn’t enforced. I asked about it and found out the pool bar opens at 11:00, so reservations would technically be cleared after noon – but they weren’t. One sun bed had a T-shirt on it for over a week without anyone removing it.

The location was excellent – a short walk to the main street, where everything you need is available. Overall, the hotel was functional, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt the value for money was good and enjoyed our two-week stay.

Thank you to the staff for your kindness and always helpful service! A big thank you to the person who was probably the reception manager, because she was excellent at dealing with the...

The hotel is on the main road within easy walking distance from restaurants, bars, supermarkets and tailor's shops etc. Once inside the accommodation, gardens and pools you are surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife. The noise from the road becomes silent. The rooms are large, well furnished and comfortable. The grounds, public areas and rooms are kept immaculate by the staff. The pools were surrounded by many sunbeds, parasols and tables. All staff are very pleasant and keen to help. I have mobility issues and the hotel took an order from me for bottled water and soft drinks, the local 7/11 delivered to reception who then brought it to my room. I mentioned issues with the shower having nothing to hold onto and floor being slippery. Within the hour they sourced a mat and an elbow crutch for my use which helped. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was excellent, it happily tweaked the menu to suit. The food was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast had options for cereal, fruit, pastries, breads and hot local dishes, assorted freshly cooked eggs boiled, poached, scrambled, fried and omelette...

We were very disappointed on arrival to be given a room that hadn't been cleaned, however to be fair to the hotel they upgraded us to a poolside room which was nice. The hotel itself was set in lovely grounds at the far end of the strip, you need a pass which is given by the hotel to use a shortcut through another hotel to the beach. Furniture in room was tired and in need of updating. Rooms were in need of decoration which was currently being undertaken during the low season. Two pools both very nice to use. The hotels Italian restaurant come breakfast room was very nice. The gymnasium was in real need of upgrades, poorly decorated and machines were badly corroded. The staff at the hotel were all amazing and a credit to the hotel. Don't let any of the above put you off staying here, the hotel are working incredibly hard to upgrade everything, and I am sure by high season 2026 this will be a once again beautiful hotel to stay at. We had a lovely 5 day stay here, and wish the hotel and staff the very best of luck...

Our last part of our 14 night vacation, staying here five days. As always, the greeting at reception from the team was excellent after a 2 1/2 hour journey/transfer from Krabi. The room was nice, however was a bit dated / in need of furbishment. The hotel itself was excellent. It’s sister hotel on the beach you could access the beach with a card reception supplied. The restaurant had access to the main drag through restaurant, which was great. Two pools one busier than the other. Staff extremely friendly. The only negative was the Wi-Fi you had to sit on the Veranda to get a good reception as apparently the boxes are scattered around the garden…. Other than that excellent stay, and would happily stay here again.

Met with what I would class as a “not fit for purpose” room. Furniture old and “clunky”, flooring was pulled up in places, an inch thick of dust on the back of a tv which they must have bought in the early 2000’s. Wooden door entry to bathroom loose, so nearly tripped over it (glad I was wearing shoes). Bathroom looked unclean. Tile in bathroom looked like it was hanging on for dear life, and I was concerned it was going to snap off at any moment. Air con did not cool the room at all. We have paid for upgrade to a “villa”- barely an apology given for the mess so far. We shall see how breakfast and other aspects go, this is only 1 hour since stepping in the resort..
