Little Italy — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Little Italy in Khao Lak, Thailand is a fantastic Italian restaurant that offers delicious pizza and pasta in a charming, authentic setting. The servers were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even taking the time to chat with us and learn more about our travels.The pizza was absolutely fantastic - the crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Little Italy and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Khao Lak. Il primo giorno che siamo capitati qua a mangiare abbiamo preso il solito antipasto di bruschetta e a seguire pizza e caprese e mozzarella fritta. Siamo rimasti davvero colpiti sopratutto dal servizio offerto, dalla gentilezza e dai sapori che abbiamo ritrovato in tavola. Siamo tornati il giorno dopo e abbiamo provato l'amatriciana e una greca perché eravamo un po' pieni dal pranzo. Non credo di aver mai mangiato un insalata così buona fuori dall'Italia. La pasta aveva quel sapore che ti riporta a casa in Italia. Davvero ottimo. La cosa che ci ha sbalordito di più è stato scoprire che in questo ristorante non c'è nemmeno un italiano... Eh già perché il titolare del ristorante è thailandese e va in Italia a scoprire i piatti nei ristoranti italiani e manda le ricette ai ragazzi qui in Thailandia. Io non so come faccia ma sta dando un servizio e dei piatti di tutto rispetto. E infatti questa è la terza volta di seguito che mangiamo qui. Si perché mentre aspetto il tiramisù e la panna cotta più buoni della Thailandia scrivo questa recensione che meriterebbe 10 stelle. Vorrei anche menzionare le fettuccine homemade al pesto (fantastiche) e la lasagna anche quella homemade che farebbe invidia a qualche chef italiano.

Davvero complimenti al titolare per aver saputo dare un tocco italiano molto più italiano di altri ristoranti di italiani qui in Thailandia... Bravo e bravi tutti. Complimenti 🤩🤩🤩

PS non capisco le recensioni che parlano del prezzo. E ma in Italia... Non sei in Italia qua la qualità la paghi più di altri posti, se poi con più si parla di 5€ non so proprio cosa dire. Tra l'altro in altri ristoranti italiani dove abbiamo mangiato paghi anche di più (per il nome) e poi magari un ristorante così in Italia sarebbe l'ultimo da cui andrei.

Friendly service and a well-run restaurant. If you are looking for a change in taste from from your Thai visit, Little Italy will surely please. We had the Little Italy Special and Potato/Parm Ravioli...Both were deliscioso! For desert, we had vanilla gelato and their homemade tiramisu...both were fantastic! Frank, the evening waiter, was an engaging host and truly customer driven. I thought he was the son of the owner because he was so poised and experienced.
