I was recommended to go here, personally I find it hard to believe that anyone would consider this to be authentic or good Thai food, Tom kha gai soup and Thai green curry, didn't have the correct ingredients, and absolutely zero taste of fish sauce, Thai sweet basil, lemon grass, and nearly all the things you would expect, it was all very week, and vegetables were not cooked, I can cook better, I would say go anywhere else. The only positive wasThe lady that served us was lovely and she should of had all the money we paid for the meal, it was pretty cheap, but I'd say not worth half as much. About 1200 bhat Inc drinks. Read moreExcellent in every way! We’re staying at Le Meridian and the food there is really awful, so we came to check out Plov, which is just next door on the beach. If you walk past the Le Meridian beach bar, with the sea on the left, you’ll see the lights and it’s directly on the beach. The food is great! Fresh, beautifuly cooked…just delicious! It’s extremely pleasant here just next to the sea. We had yellow curry with shrimp, roti, papaya salad, and sweet and sour chicken. Every dish was so good. They also have nice cocktails, sandwiches, and european food….and they brought complementary watermelon at the end...
Read moreLocated on the beach, nestled in between other restaurants you will find Pinky's. Perfect to sit and watch the sunset, as you listen to the waves, enjoying a cold drink.
Ate here a couple of times too, each time well presented, lovely food.
The fact they ask if it's a G&T again shows their level of service, or maybe that we frequented it too often !?!
Will make this our last sunset stop later, thats how much we enjoyed the peace & quiet at this quaint place...
