This has been an incredible stay for our family. We have absolutely loved every moment at Little Shore Resort – it’s paradise! Everything is perfect. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding team at Kati Restaurant.
A huge and special thank you goes to the wonderful staff who made us feel like family every single day. Special mentions to: Kookai, Naing, Moo, Gabter, Cake, Tu, Kevin, New, Lucy One, Irish, Nescafe, Vantas, Marjo, Nadia Five, Fiona Three, Marielle, Jam, Daniele, Rinrada, Peter 10, Gift, Mon, Junny, Jib, Poh, Wallie, Peter Tea, Tom, Jerry, and Fay (Fai) at the front desk.
And yes – Jerry, Tom, Nescafe and Tea even drove us places in a Lamborghini! What a memory!
The service at Kati Restaurant is beyond five stars – it’s heartfelt, genuine, kind, and incredibly professional. The food? To die for. The restaurant? Spotless. Immaculate. So clean – even the bathrooms! Nothing is ever too much trouble. One day, a woman fainted nearby and the team responded instantly with care and compassion – medical help arrived in less than a minute.
Every day, our family was treated with warmth and love. They would order in fresh mangoes, passionfruit, and Thai treats just for us. They saved our special table daily, and as soon as we arrived, watermelon juice was already being made for the kids. That level of attentiveness is rare.
We were constantly amazed by the attention to detail – cutlery replaced instantly, water refilled in seconds, a kind word always offered. It’s clear the staff genuinely love what they do – and they love having guests who appreciate and support their country.
The mango sticky rice was divine, the custard croissants – according to the kids – were out of this world. Every part of the dining experience was flawless.
Little Shore Resort itself is beautiful. Right by the sea, with palm trees swaying, a fresh breeze, a stunning pool, and incredibly clean, fresh rooms. But I need to say this clearly:
Without the staff, this place would be nothing. They are the soul, the energy, and the heart of this resort.
We are leaving with full hearts, deep gratitude, and beautiful memories. We will 100% be back. This truly is the best place on earth for a holiday.

Breakfast at Kati is a dream – fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour. The buffet is beautifully presented, offering a perfect balance of local delicacies and international favorites. Each dish feels carefully thought out and freshly prepared. The fruit is always ripe, the eggs are cooked to perfection, and the pastries are simply divine.
Dinner, on the other hand, is an experience. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the menu offers a rich variety of flavours. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is beautifully plated and bursting with flavour , clearly crafted with love and attention to detail.
But what truly sets Kati apart is its exceptional team. A heartfelt thank you to everyone but in particular Kookkai, New, Marielle, Gabpa, – each one of you brought something special to our dining experiences. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for our children did not go unnoticed. Read moreHuge complements to the management on the quality of the staff who attended to us at breakfast. The staff at this restaurant were exceptionally good. They anticipated our needs and desires, were attentive, professional and friendly. For example, as soon as we appeared for breakfast, extra cushions were placed on our chairs before we reached the table (we are short, and the cushions make us more comfortable), after a couple of days they offered to bring mango to our table when the mango was not on offer on the buffet, one day they were out of Twinings Darjeeling tea, but it was served within an hour - evidently sourced specifically for us. I could go on... there were so many customer focussed details that it is difficult to list them: the overall outcome was a remarkable example of how to offer superlative friendly service, The quality and variety of the food here was exceptionally good. The selection on offer was curated - different fruit, meats and cakes were on offer everyday. This was a welcome change from other resorts where often the focus is on quantity rather than quality. As I mentioned above, food not on the buffet was available or even anticipated by the staff and offered once they knew our preferences.
