WOODS bar Khaolak — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

The Lighthouse Bar is a hidden gem! On the seafront of Nang Thong beach next door to Khaolak Bhandari Hotel, you will not find a nicer place for an evening out. Wide selection of drinks and the cocktails are amazing! Very reasonably priced. I’m a firm believer in supporting local business and this is a family business with a huge heart. From cocktail happy hour to live music, to a big screen where they show various entertainment. This place offers very welcoming staff who can’t do enough for you and it’s right next door to a fabulous street food market that, of an evening time is very popular! And you can bring your food into the bar to eat. All in all this place made our holiday as a place to come ‘home’ to, for a few drinks of an evening after a day out sightseeing. My wife and I have traveled half way around the world, and found this little hidden gem. We enjoy an evening drink/cocktail, but more importantly we enjoy a nice feel to a place. Great staff, with friendly smiles, great service, but most importantly, good beer/cocktails. We have tried a few different places, both in different areas of Thailand, and locally in Khao lak. This is our favourite. Woods bar was our favourite place to go in KhaoLak. We kept coming back due to the friendliness of all the bar staff, especially a lovely man called Rio, who was so attentive, always greeting us with smiles and going above and beyond with his customer service - he's the best in Khao Lak! The drinks were incredible, especially the mojitos and Pina coladas! We really enjoyed the entertainment each night, wonderful singers and amazing performances from the fire men!
