Revised review from December 2023: Google was listing this restaurant as closed for several months, so I had previously passed over a few chances to eat here again. Took a chance last night and dropped by, and they were actually open for business. For this meal I ordered spicy seafood salad and sticky rice, plus a bottle of water. Total price was 109 thb. The flavor of the salad was very good, however some of the seafood was undercooked, raw actually (see photo). I didn't dare take a chance on eating non-sushi-grade raw seafood. Had to revise my rating, dropping them from 5 stars to 4, generously. Disappointed, as I really want to love this restaurant. Staff here are so friendly and kind and prices are excellent. I'll probably be back, just won't order seafood again. Sticking to pork products.
Original review from March 2023: Had an excellent late dinner here tonight. Small simple menu, mostly papaya salads, larb, and spicy basil dishes. I ordered papaya salad with fermented fish, which came with crab, mussels, some kind of fish cake, and bamboo shoots. Interesting blend with a really good flavor, great flavor actually. Read moreIt is located not far from Onnut station. It is located in a good place at the corner of the building and the restaurant condition is very good. The salad that I had, which was mixed with papaya + shrimp and Lee San's special spicy sauce, is the best salad for me this year.
The fried rice with pork and the freshly grilled chicken wings are also on a level that is better than any other restaurant.
I will visit again next time. It is the best with a cold Chang beer. Cash is the best...
Read more店内は窓に沿うようにテーブルが並んでいて、中央のテーブルでは料理の下ごしらえをしたり従業員家族がくつろいでいたりととってもアットホームな雰囲気。日本ではありえないけどこっちだとなんだかほっこり見ちゃうんですよね。 店の名前が「メー・シヌアン」(シヌアンさん家のお母さん)ってのもいいですね。

先日からハマっている「ส้มตำข้าวโพด(ソムタム・カオポート)」はとうもろこしのソムタム。辛いけど甘みのあるソムタムがたまらん。
素朴な味付けのエビチャーハン「ข้าวผัดกุ้ง(カオパット・クン)」もいいね。レストランというより家庭の味っぽくてホッとする。
こちらもおなじみ「ผักบุ้งไฟแดง(パックブン・ファイデーン)」。こっちは空芯菜が安くて新鮮だからどこで食べても間違いなく美味しいんですよね。
豚トロを焼いた「คอหมูย่าง(コームーヤーン)」はビールとの相性抜群。ちょっと辛いソースを付けて食べると豚の脂の甘さが引き立って美味いなぁ。
ソムタムが美味しかったのでもう一品。今度はイカを使った「ปลาหมึกส้มตำ(プラームック・ソムタム)」にしてみました。 ソムタムの酸っぱ辛い味付けって海産物と合いますね。これも美味い!
先日も食べた干し肉「เนื้อแดดเดียว(ヌア・デート・ディアウ)」をモグモグしながら呑むビールが美味い。 クセのあるバイマックルー(コブミカンの葉)をときどき齧りながらだとタイ感倍増ですよ。 シーフードレストランってことで白身魚のレモン蒸し「ปลากะพงนึ่งมะนาว(プラーガポン・ヌン・マナオ)」が食べたかったんだけど品切れで残念・・・。 いろいろ品切れなメニューが多くて、拙いタイ語で聞きながらの注文になっちゃったけど、なんとか通じたのが嬉しかったなぁ。勉強していてよかった。 家から近いし...
