I went here during valentine with my wife, we waited and got seated fairly quickly, the staff was good so far.
We ordered beers, apetizer and food.
We did not recieve a single item we ordered together, only one of us got a beer, had to grab a waiter to get mine.
We got our Tom yam, which was tasteless, but atleast not bad and shortly there after i recieved my main dish. Now waiting for my wife to recieve hers, and waited. And waited.
Well over 30 minutes passed without us getting the 2nd dish, and we had to grab a waiter and ask again.
This is when they say they had run out of meat for the dish. But they still had the audacity to take our order.
We came here to eat together and have a good time, and I wouldn't have wasted our money on beers nor food if I knew from the start that we wouldn't eat together. It defeats the whole purpose of the visit.
And the manager was reluctant to listen to complaints and only offered a 7% discount after much hassle.
Our experience here totally ruined our day. I cant express with words my...
Read moreThis is an Osaka-style izakaya restaurant that emphasizes drinking beer/whisky/shochu/cocktails. You can an assortment of order individual dishes like all izakayas.
What makes this place unique: 1) some of their dishes are specifically in the style of Osaka, like their nabe (hotpot), 2) they are open until 3am, 3) they have a "buffet" menu of alcohol--90 minutes all you can drink for 480 baht. Pictures of the menu and rules are below. The best deal I think is to order one of their large set meals (800 baht to 1200 baht per person), which includes the all-you-can-drink option for 90 minutes, plus gives you a mountain of food. (You need 4 persons to do this and must order ahead.).
Bottom line, this is the type of place you usually find hidden in a back alley of Thonglor, filled with mostly Japanese eating and drinking together until well past midnight. This is the mall-version: bigger, better lighting, probably cleaner, trying to capture the same...
Read moreI went there with my husband last year.Yesterday I walked pass but still very upset about our experience there so I wrote this review.
The food - Reasonable, but tasteless. I got my beer fairly quick but it took long time to get food and beer for my husband, then we got 1 tom yum. I ordered my ramen, but after 30 minutes of waiting, I had to grab the waiter again to follow up about my main dish because I was starving!!. They went to the kitchen for 10 minutes and then came out to inform me that the ingredients were out of stock!! They should've checked what they have before taking an order.
The service - the service was ok. After my husband complained about what I wrote, they gave us 7% discount which is useless. Because it was our wedding day and valentine's day. We were there to celebrate just the two of us. But the whole day were ruined!!!
The atmosphere - Felt like sitting and eat in Japan for real. Close to the BTS Onnut station....
