Came here at 5 in the morning. Staff didn't seem very happy to see a customer at 5am. The cashier was having a hard time understanding that I want chicken porridge. The choices were "Pork or Chick N' Crisp," I wanted chicken. And I told her a couple of times that I want chicken porridge. So I paid, but when I sat and checked the receipt, it says, "Pork porridge." I went back to her to correct it. She didn't seem pleased that I had a concern about my order. She was doing something when I approached her, and the moment I called her attention, she just annoyingly tossed the stuff she was holding on the counter. She then got further upset as she couldn't understand me. Now she's thinking that maybe what I wanted was the "Chick N' Crisp sandwich." I said no, so she called the manager. I understand some Thai as I live here, and I know that she was telling the manager that it was my fault for ordering the wrong thing. The manager came over to the counter, and was also not very pleased to assist me. I had to use Google translate to explain to the manager what was going on. The whole time that they were trying to figure out what to do with my order, the cashier was insisting on the manager that it was my mistake. Ofcourse they didn't know that I could understand them, but this is a very Thai behavior of the cashier if some of you are not aware. They ended up canceling my order and they had to redo it with the...
Read moreStandard chain Burger King. Selling murdered cows or pigs and fake meat products if you're not into the carrion thing. The facility is located in a high traffic area. You can look out the window at the passers by, as you sit there in Thailand eating food from the West , please remember the world is not fair . The people walking by might live off of 100 Thb a day ,they might get up earlier than you in the morning , work every day and they have better moral ethics . So you got to ask yourself ? did you come here to experience Thailand , the culture , to meet the people and try their food, or did you come here to eat at a chain restaurant ? You're reading this for my opinion which is you should get off of your backside and walk to the nearest stall or noodle house that has a long line of Thai people and eat what they are eating. Set your food prejudices and preconceived notions aside, pointe at the dish of the person in front of you and tell them I want that " pom ow anii" Go sit down at a shared table with the people who live in the place you've come to visit. Go get yourself a cup and some ice and some water. And fill your body with the nutritions from the land of smiles , letting every cell regrow itself from the food materials these ancient peoples have chosen. You can eat murder King and preservatives when you get...
Read moreBest Burger King in Bangkok. I eat here once a month because it's the only fast food burger place in Bangkok that serves hot fries and hot burgers to order. The managers deserve a raise. I don't mind waiting the extra time for hot food. Nothing is worse than cold fast food. My girlfriend recently wanted to try McDonald's we were served cold burgers and barely warm fries not to mention an extra charge of 10 baht for mayo. This place gets it right. Much better than the USA...
